aside from making sure the gold output level knob is turned up, not sure. is this the case for old projects as well as new? double check song view level gold knob is turned up. otherwise a hardware issue may be afoot.

the deluge already has a clock in input (CLK IN) that you can use to achieve this or have something plug into it's MIDI IN that sends a clock. but this won't work by interpreting incoming audio, it needs to send midi or pulses.
