as far as i know, it's a limitation with how parameters were coded. however apparently it's something that can be achieved if an open source developer wanted to refactor the way parameters are structured. a work around is to set your oscillators …

this sounds like a unique issue for the qc-1 and other devices similar to it, like the omnichord (depending on how midi is implemented on it) i happen to have a QC-1. i could try using it sometime this month with the deluge and see if there's a s…
-
there is a bug related to this, i think technically its modulation aliasing that is now more pronounced than before because of optimization improvements on community firmware. for now simply increase the SIDECHAIN ATTACK amount from 7 to somethin…

just a heads up, there are bipolar automation lanes, but those are only for synth/kit clips, where we know for a fact the value is bipolar (pan, modulations (eg. lpf > env1), and pitch). maybe one day we can make midi cc's have user defined behav…
-
this isn't implemented with automation view i'm assuming this would be within midi clips, right? functionally it should work the same, but i'm sure it would be nice to have the visual queue that the automation is affecting a bipolar parameter

the usb slot from your computer may just not be sending enough power to charge it as fast. try plugging the usb into an outlet/power brick and you may notice a difference
-
not at the moment, it's been discussed for community firmware but hasn't been tackled.
-
nope, just like any firmware (official or community) you can skip updates.
-
check your MPE settings, i think if LOWER or UPPER is set to a specific channel then it's going to send midi data through a bunch of channels at once. try setting both LOWER and UPPER to OFF. SETTINGS>MIDI>DEVICES>DIN or USB>MPE>LOWER…

@BilboSwaggins128 said: Hi! just curious when the next round is (assuming you all are still working in "rounds"). I've only waited a month or so, so I'm not pressed about it, I'd just really like an approximate timeframe, even if the window I'm g…

@Schützer you should fill out this form to get advice/solutions directly from synthstrom themselves: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeTP-eDaaDOmU4-WRXcVhQIoIBd8bkLC_Up4_Lt1RbYZXA-xQ/viewform?pli=1

have you confirmed with other devices using the headphone input? perhaps the plug or cable of the headphones you are using is faulty? if not it sounds like you have to go through the repair process again.
-
the year is 2018 which is based on the first two digits
-
there currently is no envelope follower feature on the deluge. it has been discussed, maybe it will be a feature in the community firmware in the future.

from here: https://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/5710/sd-card-problem#latest that error can display if you've accidentally locked the sd card, take it out and make sure the lock switch is set to unlock. otherwise it might be a formatting…

that error can display if you've accidentally locked the sd card, take it out and make sure the lock switch is set to unlock. otherwise it might be a formatting issue, windows needs to use a 3rd party app for larger cards like that, but mac disk …

for the white cursor issue, does the song play, but the white cursor doesn't appear? if so, you have to turn on the white cursor. enter settings > playhead cursor > if it's disabled, switch to SLOW. you cannot create clips in CLIP view. may…

hm, well since it's the drums that you are hearing i would look at the delay amount for the kit clip (if that is what you are using. each kit row can have it's own delay amount set, so you would have audition a row to make it active, then enter the …
-
i would check if delay amount is on. you can lower the rate of delay with the gold knobs and those can get very long as a result.
-
new scales are in the currently unreleased 1.1 beta and the nightly firmware, but not for the latest released community firmware 1.0.1, what firmware version are you using? also, there is no scale file (.scl) support, just additional scales avail…

1) i think the creator of the BoD patches generally is just trying to make a great sounding patch one at a time. i'm sure they consider CPU/voice uses to some degree, but i think first and foremost they want to make great/unique sounding patches. if…
-
This makes me think it is a RAM/internal issue but a I'm hardly pushing it with two tracks. I am running the community firmware but I was experiencing a fair bit of this before the change. track amount isn't the biggest factor that uses u…

from my brief googling, apparently the harmonics of any inverted wave are identical to the non-inverted wave so there wouldn't be any audible difference between a ramp-up and ramp-down sawtooth oscillator. you can resample and reverse playing a sawt…

since this occurs with official firmware, i would suggest filling out the following form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeTP-eDaaDOmU4-WRXcVhQIoIBd8bkLC_Up4_Lt1RbYZXA-xQ/viewform

not possible! but you have other alternatives. delay amount is controlled by a gold knob, you can record your automation of the gold knob. if you use the community firmware you can open automation view and manually fade in the delay when the note en…

it's a little complicated, but here's how to achieve it: env1 set as needed. for this example, you obviously want some release: A - 0 D - 20 S - 50 R - 40 for env2 (what we are going to patch PAN to): A - 0 D - 0 S - 25 (sustain is in …

yep, they should be ongoing indefinitely. check info here: https://synthstrom.com/product/oled-retrofit-deposit/

you need to create an audio clip with monitoring on on the deluge. if you have the OLED display, an option with (MONITORING) is what you would need to select, with 7SEG display an option ending with a period is what you will select.
-
i believe yes, but the usb code needs to be heavily refactored to allow that. people have poked around but nothing substantial has come of it yet. it seems to be very complicated and time consuming
