Finding a gated reverb sample is probably the easiest. But you can set some more extreme reverb settings and resample the snare. Then shorten the tail and play with the release time, mixing it in with the original dry snare. You can also use the…

I’m not familiar with the Ditto x2, but you can absolutely manipulate pitch and speed both independently or linked

Just open the xml file on your computer using a text based program. I use TextEdit, standard on Mac. There you can look at all various settings within. You can then do a text search with command + F. Type SAMPLES. It should jump to file paths poin…

If the samples have the same name but are in different folders they should still have unique file paths. And adding new folders shouldn’t change the file path either. Are you sure you haven’t moved or renamed any of the folders containing samples …

Happy to help! 👍🏼

That sounds like you’re seeing a folder with the name of the song. And when you enter it says none because there are no song files within. Probably samples from a collect all save. And folders cannot currently be deleted from the deluge browser. M…

This sounds like the deluge isn’t finding the samples. Likely the samples or their folders were moved, renamed, or deleted. You can open the song/kit xml file on your computer and look for the actual file path. If anything has changed you can edi…

No prob! 👍🏼

It’s the Destination shortcut under the FM MOD 2 column. There you can select MOD 1 instead of carrier.

The Deluge will match the scale automatically. Even without turning off scale mode, just recording notes from the Launchpad will make the Deluge change its scale mode to fit the notes you’ve recorded. You will still likely have to hold scale button …

There are multiple octaves of notes available in clip view with scale mode on. You just need to scroll with the horizontal knob to reach them. But yes, only one octave will be visible at a time. You can’t specify which notes get mapped to an exte…

You cannot go straight from one row’s waveform view to another without backing out of it. But I think I can save you a few presses based on what you said. Instead of pressing shift, you can simply hold the audition pad of the desired row and press…

It’s actually the horizontal, side to side, knob that solos clips in song mode. There is currently no way to solo individual kit rows. You’ll have to instead mute all other rows to play only a single row. If you’re looking to solo elements quick…

Yes, I believe this is possible. I don’t use Logic. But I know this is possible in Ableton. You probably need to make sure audio and MIDI settings in Logic are set up to receive MIDI from the deluge. Then have a MIDI and audio track setup to recor…

Gotcha. In that case, I think simplest solution for you is to simply press load, then type “!” (Shift + 1) then turn select anticlockwise once and you’ll be at the highest number save.

Deluge factory SD content can be found near the bottom of this page 👇🏼 https://synthstrom.com/product/deluge/
-
Yes that works. I’m not sure I understand your problem with the named songs. You type the name on the load screen and the most recent version is selected to load. You can use “!” In the beginning of a name to have it show up first.

No problem 👍🏼

I got this one from Amazon that works great! 4.0 friendly. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TPMEOYM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I would simply duplicate that clip to other sections. I’m not certain, but I don’t think it’ll take up extra CPU because those clips would be sharing the same kit and samples that already exist in the song.
-
If by “in sequence with the others” you mean with the other typical number saves, it wouldn’t if named that way. All the numeric saved files are actually titled, SONG###. You can rename song files without issue 👍🏼
-
I’m afraid you have the idea of the share option backwards. If you have a section set to share, it will not mute other sections when it is launched. It will however still get muted when section not set to share are launched. If the last section…

In Linnstrument global settings you need to select between USB or MIDI output.
-
I do. Works great with the Deluge! You also must have the Deluge connected to DC power and Linnstrument connected before powering on the Deluge for it to boot into host mode.
-
Are you familiar with the MIDI learning process on the Deluge? Hold the learn button + the audition pads, while holding, press a note on the Linnstrument.
-
I’m not positive, but I think it automatically creates a mono file if there’s no stereo content.

Awesome! Glad it’s working for you! Happy to help 👍🏼
