Good luck! Hope that helps!

Happened twice with the same card tho? I’m leaning towards that being the issue because I haven’t heard of the deluge causing a problem like that before
-
For future reference, I’d recommend making backups often, especially before doing any reorganizing.
-
I would say make sure the lock switch isn’t engaged in the sd card. Also, try moving files (make sure all necessary folders are present) to a new sd card and see if the problem persists. Sometimes sd cards just crap out.

It is not currently possible to control navigation on the Deluge over MIDI. You can map most parameters of sounds and command controls like play, stop, and loop from the commands under the settings menu.
-
No problem! 👍🏼

Have you tried simply creating a new audio clip, entering it, then using the browse shortcut? You can then just navigate to the sample you put in the samples folder.
-
I think safest would be to open all back and top side screws and remove the back plate. Then you can remove the screw and make sure it didn’t come from somewhere else within. Easier quicker option is to remove top and rear wood screws on just one…

No problem! 👍🏼

Yes! You absolutely can tweak the presets. And you can save what you’ve done to the patch with save + synth. By default, it will create the same preset name with a new number after. But you can name it anything with the QWERTY function, or turn the …

Try scrolling up in the arranger. The correct track row for that clip may be out of sight.

@Evilpilli said: > Slightly relevant question, when loading a sample into an audio clip, I lose the ability to place it in the arranger. The clip only shows up as white, and cannot be changed. Am I missing something? Just ho…

No prob! 👍🏼 You can also hold a white clip and press song button to copy it to song view. And when you return to the arranger it will have a new color.
-
Maybe double check that the SD card lock isn’t engaged. That might explain the trouble. I’ve not heard of there being random notes upon startup and refusing to stop. If that kind of thing persists I’d worry there is a hardware issue. If so, fill …

Yes, I forgot to mention, changing resolution isn’t applied until the next new song. Resolution is committed once a new song is made and is saved with the song.
-
Yes, you are correct that the resolution affects both recording resolution and nudge. It also affects how far you can zoom in and the available sync resolutions for LFOs. Not sure if I’m forgetting anything, but those are the main things it affect…

Is there a “SONGS” folder present on the root level? That is needed to save/load songs. Just make the folder if it isn’t there
-
Tagging @rohan It looks like this may be a bug. This behavior doesn’t happen with current firmware on the old screen but I am able to reproduce with OLED’s current firmware. Thanks!
-
Easiest way I think to do this is to sequence the full clip into the arrangement, then hold shift and press the clip to turn it white/unique. Then you can simply remove the other notes from within that clip and it won’t affect other copies of the cl…

After pressing MIDI to change the clip’s instrument to MIDI from a synth, it retains the arpeggiator setting from the synth preset that was loaded into that clip. So you’ll have to reorganize your synths to avoid this.
-
Nice! Happy I could help! 👍🏼
-
This may have happened if the Deluge was interrupted while still updating the firmware. Unlike with the old screen, the OLED currently has no update animation for the screen. So when you update it remains blank until the update is finished. I woul…

Yes, the Deluge does have patterns per track/instrument. Each clip is a pattern that belongs to an instrument/track. If it’s the same instrument as another, only one clip will play at a time. There is not a visual row or anything where all clips b…

Within the kit clip, hold the audition pad and press CV to make it send a gate. Hold the audition pad and turn the lower gold knob to change which gate it sends.
-
There’s not a current function to do this. There is a workaround that could do this. You’ll need to connect the MIDI output to the MIDI input. Then map a MIDI clip to control a synth clip by sequencing MIDI notes and letting those play while holding…

Haha wow thanks! 😊 I’ll first say this is one my Jamuary videos. This year I’m only posting weekly but the spirit is the same. Only spending a few hours at most total on each one. So relatively speaking, it wasn’t too painstaking. Keeping vids to…

I use it a lot in performances, most often on the master. You cannot automate it unfortunately but sometimes I’ll resample stutters and throw in those chops. Here’s one example that has a lot of stutter use but it’s on probably most of my tracks.…
