  • thanks for sharing liam, it's nice to have a huge collection right off the bat, especially being new to handling wavetables. really diggin how single cycle waveforms are handled now with the deluge as wavetables to allow for pulse width changes. gam…
  • no worries, its fun to investigate ! the deluge should properly downsample from anything higher than 44.1k/16bit so its not imperative to plan accordingly, but its worth snooping around if issues ever come up with samples. cheers
  • hm ok, so it seems that when HPF has a value greater than OFF, the clicking happens WAY more, which your preset does have it set above OFF. as a temporary solution to avoid it, i would remove any HPF filter and adjust the BASS eq instead when possib…
  • i've never run into that and can't seem to replicate it with the samples i'm choosing. maybe upload the sample file somewhere so we can investigate?
  • as far as i know, there is no way to tie all fx/gold knob parameters to each other between different clips of the same preset. it may be possible by using a midi device and learning the same parameters from each clip to one knob on the midi device.
  • if you rename in arranger view then the new name should be reflected in song view (when holding a row from song view). i went through all of my songs and renamed everything, but yes you have to enter arranger view, once renamed you can jump back int…
  • +1, i have the lower audition pads that take more pressure to actually trigger. was thinking of just buying replacement pads, but wonder if opening and cleaning would do the trick. issue popped up after 1 year, 3 months
  • what @Too_Mere suggested will work, if anything sounds weird on playback, double check nothing was recorded onto the audio track when sampling into the kit (you can disable recording or even mute the audio track that has monitoring on and still be a…
  • if there are no other clip lanes, whatever is recorded into that audio clip will set the BPM of the song. to properly close the recording (in song view), you actually hit the mute pad of the clip. if you have another clip in song mode that is unmute…
  • if there's another clip that exists and is unmuted in your project, then you can press the your audio track's mute button right before the end of the 4th bar and it will close perfectly at the end of the 4th bar.
  • correct, a poor choice of phrase for those on the edge of their seats lol.
  • ive definitely had a few rare instances when i resample where the result is noise. hasn't happened in a long time (but with the current firmware). wonder if it's related...
  • yup, only WAV files
  • at the moment you will have to plan ahead, either duplicate the clip before you edit the parameters in song view, so then you can 'revert back' by launching the original, unchanged clip. OR you can make a duplicate project file, with the desired cli…
  • @feijai said: @reza said: your other point, originally stated in the top of the thread, was with accidently recording onto multiple tracks. this is also easily addressed by unlearning and learning from song view between recordings. …
  • you might need to review the manual (chapter 9.6) or a tutorial some more (this one is good, although a lot of information at once so it's good to pause and take it a few steps at a time) your whole issue about going into clips to learn midi, th…
  • apparently can't be done. you can copy and paste plocks or parameter automation for kits and synths, but not into audio clips. you can record your parameter live in audio clip though. otherwise yea, slicing audio into a kit is a more dialed in way o…
  • you can name clips in arranger view by holding audition pad + name [grid shortcut]. enter the name u want for the clip. now when you're in song view the name of the clip will show up when you hold a pad on the clips row, might make it easier. i woul…
  • can only delete in song view, hold pad within row of clip (in song view) and then hit delete. no need for shift.
  • ah, really interesting. basically the polyphony, delay, the sustain being brought up, the slow delay rate (1 bar), and certain ASDR being set to random is bogging the CPU (or RAM?) of the deluge. those parameters are creating a LOT of polyphony i…
  • ok, to achieve this is different given some variables. you should record your external synth into an audio clip. in this case you should not be resampling because it's easier to get a perfect 4 bar loop recorded from an audio clip when in SONG vi…
  • usually custom 2 is set to decimation. navigate so that value is on the screen (shift + decimate shortcut), turn the custom 2 knob and see if the value on screen changes as you turn the gold knob. if so, then decimation must be causing it (which wou…
