they did it... the crazy b$&#(@ds actually did it! This is exciting news so I can't help but ignorantly speculate on a few things... Will we get a release of the official toolchain as well for this? I thought one of the issues was that Del…

update the firmware again?

I have asked for this before in the context of other playback options for a track. We are getting some new options but this one is huge for me +++10000!

MIdi improvements are a big ask from a lot of folks. Probably my biggest as well as tap to copy kit rows like we do in song mode. +1 Again for settable scaling values for cc controls. would be nice to be able to invert and set ranges with the min/ma…

Never say never but a usb audio stream would be challenging to pull off with the deluge as is. Issue is that in addition to its normal function the same cpu has to run the audio encode (along with its normal i2s encode) as well as a usb comm stack, …

@recursor said: would this topic equate to the same sort of thing that roland are doing with thier 'scatter' effect? Stutter is an audio resample effect. Scatter is a midi/cv effect as far as i know. Would love to have the option to ha…

@AndrewChi said: With the way it is now, if you learn MIDI channel 1 to an instrument, muting the associated track wont cause the deluge to stop playing the instrument. The only workaround is to learn each track another MIDI channel and switc…

Word, came from ableton too! * hope so! * with loopback you would record the mutes you wanted with a midi track, then send that signal to the midi out port, receive it to the midi in port and have that note mapped to whatever mute you want. *…

+1 but it's probably this way to give you a way to switch active sounds silently.

Deluge limitations can seem way worse than they actually are. You will have a much better time in general if you dont try to fight with it and play to its strengths. Shift launch into arranger now would require the creation of a new clip that cop…

yeah it is kinda tedious constantly mapping all your pads in kits. Maybe if you hold two rows instead of 1 the entire view could be learned to sequential notes starting at the key you hit to learn the pads. if you could map 8 at a time it would be w…

if you had faster drums it might be electronica. I think you tripped right into triphop/downtempo... nice

my vote for these will always be the ability to use the pad grid to define a custom curve. maybe use the shift+<> to stretch or shrink the curve in time? Would be pretty cool to be able to set the interpolation mode used to smooth between set…

this is why I suggested tempo be a mod source

hit any pad and keybard will come up but yes not sure why they don't bring it right up.

i like the idea of importing kit lanes rather than saving them tbh. when you hit load and pad you should be able to then hit kit, have the kit you are loading from show up and use the mute pads to select which lanes to import. loading a synth sou…

regular song. Pretty sure the deluge boots into an nameless, unsaved song, no way to load a default one. If you overwrite synth 0 it should boot to that... I think we really need to look at saving midi input configurations too.

first step i think would be allowing folder access and a bounce to stems function. The issue is that the deluges processor would have to also run a usb audio stack itself to encode the audio stream and handle identifying itself to the computer, not …

I think this actually may be another case for an effects api ala korg prologue etc. pretty sure ive seen a granular implementation in that.

I wish this worked by mapping osc transpose to -50 with Note. However if i recall right it actually begins to go the other way (lower note higher pitch) and there is no sweet spot where its held steady.
