there isn't a way to organize by date. you could try adding new batches of samples to a folder of the given date or month eg '23Sept19' is browsing by date is more important than organizing by context.

take a look at Deluge Commander, it's an app where you can move samples and keep file paths in tack. it also lets you know which samples are bound to a project and which have never been used.
