bummer! for what it's worth, i never eject my SD card and haven't lost data, but my SD card reader blinks it's LED when the card is reading or writing, so I wait till the blinking stops. windows 10, using a lexar usb 3.0 multicard reader

i know that boards of deluge 5 contains some patches with either multisamples or samples incorporated in them. i believe a FILE error would appear if those files were misplaced (in a different folder than the XML files point to) or maybe the samples…

hey @tingel, any chance you could timestamp a moment in that video of that effect? looking up chiptune sweep on other videos results in videos showcasing something different than here, at least from skimming through the video.

this might not be the solution since it works when you downgrade, but make sure your SD card's lock switch isn't on. otherwise maybe it would be helpful for you to post a screenshot of your root folder on the SD to see if anything is weird

once u have the two recordings in audio clips: enter audio clip 1, hit shift+browse and then exit (saves location of last browsed file) go to into kit, press an audition pad+load then confirm the first sample. do the same with the second audio clip…

double check your PREVIEW setting in the main menu is set to, maybe it got adjusted during firmware update? the behavior you describe is when it's set to CONDITIONAL, set it to ON instead
