I see the problem. The drum clip is still 4 measures long. There’s only notes for 2. Enter the drum clip and use shift + horizontal knob to shorten the actual clip length to 2 measures

Yes, had the original and other sections with 4 measures. I shortened the audio clips by hitting the last column of pads and then moving the red bar. This does show grey pads, depending on zoom level. Make sure you’re shortening to exactly 2 measu…

I’m wondering if it’s something else. When testing I did record 4 measure audio clips then shortened them to 2 measures and has no issues switching after 2.

How long is the drum clip? I just tested this and it only seems to play the 2 measure clips twice if a 4 measure clip belongs to the group.

There’s not a way to change volume for multiple selected clips. But you can turn down all clips by using affect entire in song mode, which should help with distortion.

On Synthstrom’s site they offer a refreshing service that would cover those issues. The less expensive route would be to buy replacement pads and an encoder if you know how to solder.

Sounds like the update didn’t go right. You may still have the old bin file on the card or in hidden files. If needed, try a factory reset as well by holding SELECT while powering on.

I believe the manual explains this on the next page under “SELECTING THE AUDIO IN”. In song view, hold Learn/Input and press the audio clip row. Then turn select knob to select the desired input.

You need to hold shift and turn the horizontal knob so the clip matches the number of measures that the audio file is. Best to prep by making sure the audio file is exactly x number of measures.

It sounds like your loop command was trying to loop the MIDI/kit track. This happens because the LOOP command makes a new clip to loop whichever track that was last selected. Enter and exit the audio clip to avoid this.
