  • I'm having the issue where the forum log in recognises my username and password but the site log in does not. Is this the same issue everyone else is having?
  • How about going by serial no. of the deluge, earliest first? As fair as anything...plus I bought mine in 2018..so...maybe vested interest :-)
  • The Deluge continues to grow and amaze. Huge thanks to Rohan and all the Synthstrom crew. Excellent work as ever. Thanks.
  • @The_Elf said: I want to use my standard set of MIDI CC numbers to control looping on the Deluge. I tried to use the 'Learn' function under the CMD menu, but it appears that the Deluge will only accept MIDI Notes, not CCs. Am I doing somet…
  • @Allfx said: @NRuck said: @Spacebat said: I'm actually thinking of getting one of these instead. Any reason why it would not work for live looping on Delige when playing a guitar with both hands? https://…
  • From my experience, Deluge should be able to sequence everything you want with no issues. I sequence from Deluge to Mono Station / Minilogue XD / TD-3 and Zoia simultaneously while sending cv out to Korg ARP Odyssey and running drums from the Deluge…
  • OK. You know the 'learn' procedure is to hold down 'learn' on the deluge then press any pad on the far right column and simultaneously play a key on your Launchkey. The column should then flash white and you are good to go.
  • I've done this in arranger a few times and I don't find it that cumbersome or tricky tbh. Easy to take out sections you don't want and shift the rest of the track left to re-join. Even if you have tracks which are a different length to each other yo…
  • I'll have some of that bandcamp action. No deck here so vinyl is passing me by. Congrats on the release and to all the contributors.
  • Yes. There isn't really a right or wrong way. Sorry if it came across that way. To my mind though, taking the above example by Spiderlab, if I have a clip / track with three long samples in it, I can still have different copies of that clip / track …
  • Yes. Sounds like it should work with what you have already tried. I don’t have an SE02 so I can’t try anything out myself. Good luck
  • You can dial in specific dotted and triplet delays fairly accurately with the delay (bottom) button of the delay effect column. Un-labelled third button down sets rate of delay (set to 16th as default) and bottom button defaults to value of 25. Expe…
  • Try emailing Synthstrom. They are very helpful
  • OK. Could be the PPQN rate? My understanding is that Korg gear accepts 24 PPQN (pulse per quarter note) The SE02 might work on a different PPQN rate, so that's worth checking out. Deluge can send different PPQN rates but you have to set them in the …
  • Only guessing here but Monologue has only trig in / out not cv gate in, whereas Se02 has cv in / gate / out AND trig in / out. Have you tried outputting direct from Deluge to trig in of SE02, sending 5v pulses (i think)
  • I think the generally low output volume from the Deluge is almost entirely due to the fact it sets the default value of every sound to 64 (ie halfway between 0 - 127) I often crank these values when I am putting a song together. You should find that…
  • I have never used a Force so can’t give a direct comparison. What I would say is that if you are like me, a busy guy with full time job etc. then you will probably make more music in a shorter time with a a deluge, mainly due to it’s portability and…
  • I was using a Mackie Onyx 1220i which is a desk and interface. Was great but getting up to date drivers was an issue. I recently changed up to an RME UFX which I picked up second hand. Excellent piece of gear. Routing takes a little while to get you…
  • @CaptJakk said: This is currently my number 1 feature request. I'd like to be able to do crescendos and filter sweeps on the tail end of a particular track instance, but the only way to do that is record it freehand, which leaves me wanting a lit…
  • Good idea. Could be set up 'Fruity Loops style (there's a blast from the past) so that centre is zero for parameter and column height either side of this is value, with Deluge zoom available for fine adjustment.
  • Personally, I never create an audio clip to import samples or longer stems, I just create a new kit (hold shift & kit), hold down the 'audition' button on the row I want to import the sample into and press 'load' then scroll to the sample I want…
  • Really, really nice. Might grab me some of that good stuff. Thanks for the hard work.
  • @moonroom said: I'm loving the looper function on the Deluge so much. But I'm about to go crazy waiting for the midi foot controller. Has anyone tried this one? It seems very similar to Synthstrom: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ActitioN-4-Button…
  • I have recently ditched Facebook, so I can no longer access the Deluge closed group and Beta Tester group I was a member of. I would be interested in joining an alternative forum, particularly for the beta testing.
  • @Dante4 said: Hi All, Just recently got my Deluge and I really like it. I'm not overly impressed with reverb/delay effects though. Wondering if anyone feels the same and what pedals do you use? My budget is about £150 but don't mind buying…
  • @rudolphrapid said: Can't we record parameter automation for effects? Yes. You can live Record or step record effect parameters.
  • @amiga909 said: just for the record, forgot to say, the v3 audio tracks are meant to serve live looping and loop pedal functionality. havent explored that much though and cant think of a way right now to combine it with Arranger. Yes. It'…
  • @Icoustik said: @NRuck You would indeed need a second looper to accomplish exactly what you want Yes. That’s the conclusion I’ve come to. Though thinking that I could potentially bounce each song arrangement to a stereo two track stem…
  • Thanks for the vid. Like what’s being done there and definitely a useful tutorial but it’s not what I’m trying to achieve combing live vocal looping over a repeatable, pre-existing static song structure. Thanks for all your helpful comments though.
