Are you using the included SD card? Did you move any folders/files on it? The SD card on the root level must have KITS, SAMPLES, SONGS, and SYNTHS folders to function properly.

Legato only happens when a new note is triggered while another note is still being held. If notes are all in one column with probabilities, that means when a new note is picked the previous note is replaced at the same time without overlap. You need…
-
Placing a note on the leftmost pad and extending it to the end of the clip will always make a drone that doesn’t get re-triggered. But if you place the notes just past the beginning of the clip, even a 128th, and hold the horizontal knob and press…

Not currently, no. There may be some type of software out there able to output those values. But you cannot currently input or adjust those values within the Deluge itself without an MPE controller, no.
-
Pressing and holding a clip row in song view will show the preset name or audio track name in the display. This name can be changed for the song (without affecting preset names in the SD card) in the arranger view. In arranger view, hold the audit…

The mod fx are only the default when controlling affect entire kit or song. Kit rows and synths by default have mod rate/depth control vibrato amount and its rate (controlled by LFO1). Of course you can reassign the synth or kit row controls to be…

Thanks! 😊 Happy to help!

The root level is just not inside any folders. It’s the first thing you see when opening the SD card on your computer. In song view the parameters may not be showing if “affect entire” is off. They should come back if you turn that on. If a so…

@cpbarnes if it reliably crashes with that kit then yes, please send the kits samples and instructions to recreate crash to rohan@synthstrom.com Oh but first make sure you are in the latest OLED firmware, 4.1.2. Thanks!

The KITS, SAMPLES, SONGS, and SYNTHS folders all need to be in the root level of the SD card to function properly. XMLs can be organized in whatever sub folders you like within those three folders. Any samples used in songs or presets shouldn’t be…

Actually this does seem like a bug. I can’t seem to clone a synth on the OLED either. It behaves differently than the old segment display firmware. Thanks for reporting! Tagging @rohan

Reza’s suggestion is a good option, especially if you plan to record your vocals to an audio clip. If only for live use, another possibility is using an oscillator in a kit or synth set to IN and sequencing a long drone note. This adds the abilit…

It is possible! If you mean the amount LFO 1 or 2 is modulating something. While the LFO mod amount is selected and shown on the display, press and hold shift + LFO(1/2), and press X,Y, or aftertouch. It will flash blue and you can then set the d…

If you have any specific heavy patches, samples kits, or songs that performed better on 3.15 than on 4.0.1, please send them to rohan@synthstrom.com If a bug can't be replicated by a developer or anyone else, there is no way to fix it, no matter ho…

Weird. I haven’t experienced any such crashes on 4.0.1. Is there a way to reliably replicate a crash through specific steps? If so, I’m sure Rohan could fix it. And you said ALL your saves crash? That does sound unusual.
-
That’s correct
-
Also, are you certain the battery is in current position? + on +?
-
Yeah I would fill out that form and/or email Synthstrom. Sounds like a possible hardware issue
-
I would still do a check before having to send it anywhere
-
Typically, the flashing LED happens if the battery comes loose and isn’t firmly against the contacts. I’d double check the battery is seated completely. Also power supply must be center negative. If that doesn’t help, may be something deeper.…

I would suggest just trying a more hands on approach. I see you using your hands on the pedal anyway in the video. Making a delay/reverb tail and hitting mute would only take a second or two. I like to manipulate clip effects and arrange by muting…
-
You can hold a clip’s row in song view, turn gold knobs, and it will affect that clip only. These are the same effects as the clip level. But you can quickly add reverb or delay to a sound this way in performance.
-
You can set up the clips with mapping ahead of time. And still use the foot controller to close the loop. Otherwise yeah, have to rethink your approach if you’re set on the fade outs.
-
Best suggestion I have, considering what you’re trying to do, is to map a foot controller to the level of the clip or clips do you want to fade out and just do it manually with your foot.
-
Yeah best way to get random notes is either random arp or using probability sequencing. Cheers!
-
If you mean quantizing pitch to tuned semitones, then no. I don’t believe so. But a similar result would be to set the arpeggiator mode to RAND and the arp octaves to 1. Then just hold down or sequence the range of notes you want it to randomly ge…

Download firmware version 4.1.2 (for OLED screen) here: https://synthstrom-audible-deluge.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/Deluge+firmware+V4p1p2+OLED.bin Those issues don’t appear to be a problem on 4.1.2 👍🏼
