Try the drive filter instead, fully open and just utlizing its saturation. It saturates according to the OSC volume level going into it

@amiga909 said: ah hoped u may have a new way. as discussed before the old way modulating osc1/osc2 does not work for me, it does mix layers but not split. gets me somewhere, far fetched to say this the way, thats just too superficial for me. i c…

@amiga909 said: Thanks Monitus. How do you do velocity layers in your Deluge presets? The old OSC1/ OSC2 volume fading with volume patched to velocity. @impurfekt : Yes, that's the way. Its also possible to use some external mid…

@amiga909 I highly recommend SampleRobot. It has great auto loop point generation too, and crossfades to reduce clicking etc.

You need midi notes from your footswitch for triggering midi commands, which can be found in the settings menu (Shift+press Select) under the MIDI>CMD section Any midi notes, any channel, that's up to you which you wanna learn to the commands. …

It depends on the individual sound's decay/ sustain, and the kind of sound - e.g. if its for pads, and you cant make loop points in the samples, you need longer samples, like 10-15 seconds or more.

Doesn't matter if you 'skip' firmware versions No problem. If you manage to find a way to (reliably) replicate the freeze, please report back! So potential bugs can get squashed

@Hexode said: Hi there, regarding MIDI, I have a question: I'd like to connect a midi keyboard to the Deluge while it's being powered. To do so, in the FAQ the advise is to get a birdbox-like USB-to-9V cable, but the ones I find are very short be…

Can't do that as far as I know Default resolution only applies to new songs. You can get halfway there using the old resolution 'hack', but you'll need to compensate for sequence timing/ stretching https://youtube.com/watch?v=17iwLdc5HFY

Limiter could be a solution, but it would indeed be much more brute force than turning down one's levels, and it would take additional CPU as well, etc. I dunno. Not what I would choose, but not my decision either The Deluge's native bit depth a…

@Naenyn said: This will definitely be one of the first things I try once my Deluge arrives. So is there no way to merge layers in to one individual track/audio file? Yes, you can resample the loops/ sounds i.e. consolidate them

@hexagon5un Clip volume plays a part as well in addition to the OSC volumes. Even Affect entire song volume level, which would be last in chain - they all end up in and through the DAC (digital-to-analog converter) on their way out, which is where…

@Naenyn said: I’m waiting for my Deluge to ship, so haven’t had a chance to try this yet, but I’ve also wondered about this. If you want to sample a set length from the line in and that source just happens to have a reverb, how would you capture …

Kits cannot be entered, true, but the samples are sitting around ready to be launched and streamed. You can conserve resources yourself by simply removing the unused samples - hold a kit row (grid, not aud.pad) and press Save/ Delete. Your songs…
