While we're at it: is there a way to manually pitch a single sample in a multisample instrument? I've had the deluge pitching one sample wrong and all others right, rendering the whole instrument useless.

A real compressor is quite high up on the wishlist of a lot of users. Maybe one day Rohan blesses us with this feature, but until then you'll have to use workarounds using external hardware or software for compression.

I think you could be interested in the advanced routing techniques described in the manual under "6.2 modulation routing advanced". You can use a modulator (or more) to modulate the depth with which another modulator modulates a parameter.
