Song view. Affect entire. Volume down between 25-50%. (Save as template song). Make up the volume from the Deluge master volume and/or a mixer. Deluge has relatively low volume output. This is the way.

Do you have the LPF in 'drive' mode on the kit or a row in the kit? Are you using any saturation FX? These are both very sensitive to the OSC levels

A clip on reading light might serve you well

Anyone else appreciate the little nugget of a synth preset that you get when you power on the Deluge with no SD card?
-
I include a metronome track in all of my song templates. Very flexible metronome!

The Digitakt sequencer is really powerful and offers a lot of different features than the Deluge sequencer. I actually think that running them how you mention will offer you the most flexibility. As far as the "active" aspect .. AFAIK: if DT trac…

Hm. You could try unison, but I don't think that affects the stereo image. Another option would be to record your synth line (either as a synth clip or resample it) and then double ("clone" maybe? I forget the right terms) that part and hard pan …

I don't have a Digitakt but I used to. Take this advice with a grain of salt: "If i press the Audition Button for Track 1 on Deluge, Digitakt should activate Track 1" What do you mean by activate? Unmute? Looking at the Digitakt manual (pg 66 …

Sidechain to arp rate is one of my favorites! Thanks for sharing this

Yes, I would guess all the parameters that are currently available for modulation can be modulated by X/Y. I doubt new mod destinations will be open, besides the ones that correspond to wavetables. Just my opinion

I've done lots of recording just by resampling on the Deluge. Now, I have a more heavy-handed setup with a Bluebox and a SiX into a Zoom H2n. I'm recording more than just the Deluge in the setup. Both instances have worked great for me. Something…
-
@lcoustik that is an excellent link

@Alder_Dice thanks so much for saying so that phrase sticking out to you means a lot! I'm quite happy with the way this one came out: Deluge on bass, CR78, shakers, and guitar loops Micromonsta2 on pads DD7 on reverse delay

I use a Bluebox with my Deluge! Feel free to ask me anything That list of gear sounds great with this setup, here's one way it could work: Reface, Microfreak, Deluge, Delay, Reverb into 5 of the inputs (you can choose between mono/stereo) De…

@Icoustik said: @Jipmann said: OK yes I see now - so you can't overwrite existing presets this way? Just create copies of them with a new name? They are separate. When you name tracks in arranger, their clips will show…

@jensg said: @amiga909 said: Yeah, as PixelKicker says you might want to export tracks individually, it doesnt really matter how you record them. For a "professional" mastering having individual tracks in your DAW makes a huge diffe…

Mine is relatively simple right now: * MIDI clip, channel 7, set to be controlled by keyboard * MIDI clip, channel 8, waiting to be used * 808 kit with shaker metronome * Audio clip for stereo (no monitoring, I use an external mixer with the…

Ha, y'all know I'm still trying to learn this Deluge language Fwiw, I've been using the Deluge more to sequence other synths as opposed to sampling them. This avoids the Deluge DAC as much as possible and gives me other flexibility

Thanks for sharing y'all Here's mine: Musician of a decade and a half, mostly guitar and bass although dabbles in drums and keys as well. About five years ago, ended up with family's standup piano. Played it a lot and loved it. Eventually, I wan…

+1 to a #5 pack!! I'd love more FM sounds in general

I think this has been discussed a few times here. My go to solution (assuming you can control levels from an external place, i.e. mixer) is to turn the song volume way down and then max the output volume. Other than that, you can turn the oscilla…

@Too_Mere said: entering and exiting the clip Ah, just tested this out and it seems to work great! Thank you much Also, should've been more clear: I'm not using monitoring.. I just wanted the same "monitoring settings" (for me that is…

@Heptagen Are you sure the other meta-patch cables are being removed? That has been my experience. If not, that is awesome!

@joesh Check out this video: Basically, the sidechain is an extra envelope. It gets triggered when you want it to by setting the sidechain parameter on a sample (usually a kick drum, although you can set it to anything.. the trigs can even be si…

@joesh I dig the vibe of that one! Are you using the sidechain to make that kick stand out?

Almost all my tracks on SoundCloud use the Deluge - it's such a great sketch pad. Here's one where I use sidechain to modulate arp speed:

@Icoustik said: Map first, then save (note that these pad mappings are saved to the song/ project, not the kit preset), then loopback play. Even if you save the mapping, you would have to re-map every time you slice a new audio, correct? …
