@joesh I dig the vibe of that one! Are you using the sidechain to make that kick stand out?
-
Almost all my tracks on SoundCloud use the Deluge - it's such a great sketch pad. Here's one where I use sidechain to modulate arp speed:

@Icoustik said: Map first, then save (note that these pad mappings are saved to the song/ project, not the kit preset), then loopback play. Even if you save the mapping, you would have to re-map every time you slice a new audio, correct? …

@LegsMechanical said: I keep reading that the Ds envelopes leave people wanting. Short max attacks, difficulty finding the sweet spot for decay, etc.. Not so. Need a longer attack? Modulate the envelope positively with its own attack. …

Sidechain > Arp rate has been a recent favorite (saw the tip from another user here). Awesome modulation ability! But it then makes me want to then be able to modulate the sidechain envelope

Hm, afaik the document is referring to firmware 1.3. The author has shared more recent opinions on the Deluge, as discussed here on this forum

I'll echo that the MIDI implementation on the Deluge really does well when the controller can define a range of CC values. I've found that most parameters on the Deluge don't like being going from 0 to 100%
-
I don't think there's any hardware limitation here. I don't know of a list of mappable parameters, maybe that's something we could work on as a community? Synthstrom isn't taking feature requests right now. Their request is that we accept the Del…

@hexagon5un I think some Roli keyboards send release velocity. Synths such as the Hydrasynth can process it. Pretty sure the Osmose will have release velocity as well. The future is now

Hey @Kenoubi thanks for sharing this here! (I was gonna reach out to you on that other thread ) I've also been asking some of those same questions you have in your "ToDo" section. If I get around to it, I'd love to collaborate. I think I'm bui…

Nice tip @LegsMechanical !! I've often wished for this functionality as well
-
@xap Trying with a different power supply couldn't hurt (and most people have USB chargers lying around) Past that, I'd recommend reaching out to their support: ian@synthstrom.com

Don't have any concrete answers for ya: check out page 269 on the producer's guide/manual, might clear up the waters a bit

+1 Would be great. This is currently the thing preventing from downloading more multi-samples. In order to for this to get visibility, it should go in the 'Software Suggestions' threads
-
I'd want some kind of mixer to use external effects with my Deluge. You can route the audio out and back in, as long as your turn monitoring off.. but then you won't be able to hear your FX'd audio in realtime.
-
@Boris Yes I used the 8 buttons underneath the Impulse faders to map to play, record, etc. You should be able to use the exact process that you used when you pressed a keyboard key. Might need to look into the settings of the buttons on the Impul…

Hm. I have the same setup. I think that the Impulse's transport commands are meant to work with a DAW - I was never able to get them to work with my Octatrack, didn't even try with the Deluge. I mapped all the buttons under the faders to differen…

Contacted Synthstrom about it - generallly, a high pitched whine is associated with not having enough power. My freezes must have happened on low battery charge. Appreciate the help @Ian_Jorgensen
-
My Deluge has frozen several times in the past day or two. Everything locks up and it admits a high pitched sustained note. I'm on 3.1.4 firmware It seems to be related to editing/playback of audio - either in audio clips or on a kit row. Don't h…
