@nabend said: when i power on the Deluge, an attached MIDI monitor tells that the message 0f 00 0e 0f 00 00 is received regularly. that seems not to be the clock according to a poor research, i'm too tired. I hooked up my Deluge to my Mac…

@nabend said: from my observation of the LED activity that my MIDI multiplexers have, i'd assume that the clock event is sent continuously as it is regularly blinking as soon as the Deluge is running. could the problem rather be that you r…

@nabend said: i agree, and just want to point out that the common term would be "port" instead o "network". so, each DIN-connector represents a port and iirc USB over MIDI typically offers 16 independent ports. I used 'MIDI port' for the …

The manual on page 242 explains that. In my setup I master Yamaha's AW4416 multitrack recorder mixer and connect its MTC out to the Deluge's MIDI input while setting Deluge's MIDI-thru on.

Has your problem being solved?

Ok, found it on page 195 of the OLED version manual: (it may well be the same procedure with the numeric display version but the OLED version shows the input selected in text accompanied with '(monitoring)' instead of a dot in case of direct monito…

if not, I noticed that saving a midi mapping creates a new section with all the mapping details in the synth XML file. Can you show how to save the midi mapping in Deluge? I can't find it in the manual.
-
Yes. That works. Thanks for helping me.
-
The upgrade went flawless with the overlay attached and I got to keep the removed old display.
-
Soundfile Deep in the Woods_A6_127.wav is cut short to 1.1MB. The sample is interrupted at 3.1 seconds.

Nice. Will try them out.
-
Thanks. Will try them on my OLED Deluge.

@Hotelsinus said: I think it's a hardware issue, not a software only. so its really hard to make without proper hardware that support it I think could be possible to add class compliant audio streaming functionallity via the usb interface…

A temporary speed up or slow down when turning the knob right or left just like with the Elektron sequencers?
-
OLED upgrade happened with the overlay on it without any problems.

Big problem here. My Deluge got stolen on its way to The Netherlands. I sent an email to Ian.

@Alter said: Deluge probably does not support velocity layers. To make sure the order is correctly recognized, you could add MIDI note numbers like: Bong_048_C2.wav Bong_054_F#2.wav I think deluge disables pitch detection if there is…

I believe the Kontakt sample format is proprietary not? "Key off" triggers: do you mean that the sample player jumps to loop end point on key release? If so I believe this feature should be simple to implement.
-
Nice 3D modeling.
-
My experience is that the Deluge still uses pitch detection to assign the samples to key ranges even if you name them like Bong_048_C2, etc. The assigning goes totally wrong. And that is because of the nature of the samples in my case. They have a s…

I searched if the forum here had any mention of RSKT and was surprised there wasn't any so I posted a link to his tutorial playlist.

Burning question that doesn't get answered: Do overlays need to be removed for OLED retrofit even if the adhesive is strong?
-
It could be a good idea to manufacture a single adapter that goes from a USB-B plug up side down to an upward USB-A socket, preferably recessed.
-
I appreciate your answer. Thanks.

The targeted synth is indeed deleted from the SD card. However the synth image in ram is not. It doesn't dissappear from ram. You can still play the synth. This looks like a bug or better said something not thought about. Or is this by design? Wh…

Wonderfull! Thank you.

The devices behind the sounds you hear on the Computer World and Man Machine albums comprise of monophonic synthesizers of the day and a set of gated effects such as a reverb I believe. Especially in Computer World's track It's More Fun To Compute. …

Brilliant! Thank you.

That looks difficult to get answered 🥴. Anyways, I got a second hand Deluge and purchased the colour overlay for firmware 4.0 from mxpand.com.
-
I believe this should be fixed by attaching a block inside the housing below the hole in new Deluges being sent out to buyers. This won't be easy to introduce in the production process because it can bring in new problems. Hopefully they can work ou…
