NRPN implementation
Novation Peak, DSI Prophet '08 and Prophet Rev2 have an option to use NRPN (non registered parameter number) instead of CC to transmit and recognize parameter changes over midi. The advantage, if I remember well, is a higher resolution and higher number of parameters that are midi controllable. Currently the Deluge only transmits and recognizes CC midi messages when it comes to parameter changes over time.

Deluge as a headphone amplifier
Ok, found it on page 195 of the OLED version manual:
(it may well be the same procedure with the numeric display version but the OLED version shows the input selected in text accompanied with '(monitoring)' instead of a dot in case of direct monitoring).MONITORING AUDIO THRU IN ARRANGER
1. In [ARRANGER] view, button flashes blue.
2. Press & hold [AUDITION] for an empty track + press (SELECT) to convert to an audio track.
3. Press [LEARN / INPUT] for the audio track + [AUDITION] + turn (SELECT) and choose and input with ‘.’ after it name. This signifies monitored input.
4. Apply the same in SONG view but use a row [PAD] of the clip row instead of the [AUDITION] pad in arranger view. -
Song file that corrupts midi-thru setting and midi-clock speed.
Update 2: midi-clock is only produced by the Deluge when its midi-clock in is off and its midi-clock out is on. The Deluge will echo midi-clock messages it receives to its din5 midi output when midi-thru is on. The Deluge only produces its own midi-clock messages when running. This is impractical when dealing with synths having arps and built in sequencers.

The Deluge just ate my SD card.
I believe this should be fixed by attaching a block inside the housing below the hole in new Deluges being sent out to buyers. This won't be easy to introduce in the production process because it can bring in new problems. Hopefully they can work out something because accidents may not happen during preparations for a live set.
