How to copy notes from coloured clip and paste into white clip correctly?

In arranger view, how do I copy notes from a coloured clip and paste into white clip correctly?
I keep getting wrong notes being pasted into the white clip. And the pasted notes are played faster than in the original clip even though the tempo is the same. Really frustrating.
Is this intended, a bug or what am I doing wrong here?

this is intentional. when copying AND pasting, the current zoom level and current note range visible in clip view is remembered.
this means that if you have a colored clip that is 8 bars and you want to paste all 8 bars into another clip, you have to ensure that:
1) your zoom level before you copy is able to fit all 8 bars.
2) take note of what is the bottom audition pad's note when you copy (let's say it's C1).
3) enter the white clip, and MATCH the zoom when you copied the notes, that means you will have to extend the white clip's length to match the original clip, then zoom out to match
4) scroll vertically so the bottom audition pad is C1.
5) finally paste.the reason this is done is so people can easily copy notes and transpose them how ever they please by scrolling vertically in clip view. same with zooming in or out to make the sequence play twice as fast, twice as slow, etc.

Ok. Works now. Thanks. Made sure clip length, bottom audition note, and zoom level on source clip (coloured) and destination clip (white) matched.

I think I did that, matching zoom and notes. I'll try it again. Maybe I overlooked something.
