@TAZ said: Hie, I bought a used Deluge and I would like to change the screen to an OLED. Do you know if this is possible? I live in France, do I have to send it to New Zealand or is there a closer center? There is a center closer t…

No, else it would change all the time (every loop) when trying out new patches on the synth.
-
The program change is done when (under pgm) turning the center knob. Or on song load.

@leif said: Thanks for the info! My Kawai CA59 piano has built-in MIDI over Bluetooth, so I would like to use that on the sending end. I think I only need a USB dongle to allow the Deluge to receive MIDI from my piano's built-in capabilities. …

I have diffrent headphones and they all work just fine. But [!!!], a higher impedance headphone is usually used in parallel with other headphones, like for background singers. This way (in parallel) the total impedance is lower than just with 1 hea…

That one from erica synths is already replaced by one from kenton (and a h4midi wc) I have the widi master from CME. Works perfectly with the deluge. You can sit on the couch while playing your midi rig

The vid from Ron Cavagnaro shows the new, preferred way of doing it, which is going into the midi follow menu and add the keyboard from there:
-
I didn't say the old behaviour didn't work anymore, but the new one is much faster as you don't have to unlearn constantly when switching to a new track.

This issue ? https://github.com/SynthstromAudible/DelugeFirmware/issues/2000
-
If you have the community firmware, you have to go into the (midi follow) menu to learn the keyboard instead of 'learn' + pad + keyboard.
-
Maybe you could use the midi channels a,b and c in the midi follow options.

@Binaural_Acidity said: Because hoping that it is done by external partner located in EU and not needing to send it to NZD. You don't have to send it to nzd, they have someone in the eu.

From what I understood (from a q&a ?), the oled's have already newer bootloaders, so that shouldn't be a problem anymore. Maybe try V1.0 instead of v1.0.1..
-
Maybe use a midi thru box, instead of using the deluge's midi thru.
-
My question is whether you can load a "template" (as you call them) during startup. No. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
-
Should only be possible w/ power adapter attached.
-
Sounds pretty good.

Ich wusste nicht, dass Außerirdische auch Musik machen.

I'm trying to fullfill the balance You will get an email w/ the link and a password. If you haven't got it, just wait a bit longer.
-
Dunno what issue this is. I have GB's of samples on the card and the deluge isn't crashing at all.
-
I guess you can 'fix' this issue w/ the new master compressor ?!

@djAzid said: From the first q&a, there seems to be an error w/ the bootloader on a lot of devices (not the latest). Will this be addressed soon and do you need anything special (like a special connector) to update it ?! Found my answ…
-
Yeah, but if you can even use exfat (through fuse) on the amiga (I am an amiga user ), it might be do-able on the deluge as well.
-
FsFat should already support exfat, only it's not enabled in ffconf.h So FF_FS_EXFAT & FF_USE_LFN should be enabled. This should work, but maybe someone can test it ?!
-
this is major progress in my eyes Yeah, but major progress needs major testing too.
-
Well, my roundtrip took 3 working days, so it can be done.
