Oh, some midi settings I think and sometimes preview set to conditional can be handy. And velocity set to 100 instead of 64.

Exporting Songs
You could send tracks (16 max ?) as midi data all at one go. Then in a daw use a sampleplayer or so to connect the samples to the midi data.
