The old sp404 (as an example) doesn't have a good ui, but it does have threshold monitoring for the input. So you don't need an ui for that.

From the first q&a, there seems to be an error w/ the bootloader on a lot of devices (not the latest). Will this be addressed soon and do you need anything special (like a special connector) to update it ?!

Can't you do this already ?! Just import a bunch of samples as kit and play them per step. Or didn't you meant this ?

We already have earliestCompatibleFirmware, currently at 4.1.0. alpha, so w/ every update backwards compatibility is gonna get lower anyway. ie, you can't use it in version 3 anymore. Would be nice if saturation (and bitcrush/decimation) settings…

There's no problem, but why use the 1.0 shortcuts when you can use V3/4 ?!

but with this function you couldnt layer two sounds anymore. Maybe optional ? Or that normal msgs (keypresses, pitch, modwheel) from a keyboard are automatically assigned when you are on a channel (midi and internal).

Just like any other machine. When you wanna change the tempo just 1 or 2 bpm (and not 6 or 8), you don't wanna think you need to press the knob instead of just rotating.

Fixed audio dropouts or glitching when reading a folder’s contents (e.g. when changing presets). This still happens often when browsing synths or just by switching from a synth to a kit.
