Beta 2.1 - Setting 'Loop Points' to zero crossing to avoid clicks
v2.1 (in beta test) has the ability to set in and out loop points in waveform view.
Suggestion is:
- once IN or OUT has been set - using ZOOM & SELECT to fine tune points
- to click SELECT to move chosen point to nearest ZERO-CROSS in waveform
Would avoid loop-clicks

New 2.1 firmware tease: Multisampling
fryyyy, thanks for all your work though. Coz I'm pretty sure it was this that lead to Rohan's development of this feature !!!!
(really, hoping it does the multi-sample for both OSCs too - such that we can use the loud/soft folder pairs)

Best way to use the batteries? When to charge?
Hi. The LiON cell inside will tolerate quite a bit of to and fro-ing. It's also super easy to replace (much easier than any current smartphone that uses the same tech).
We're a long time past the fiddly-ness of Nicads !!
So just use it the way that best suits your workflow and don't worry too much about cycles etc.

OLED Upgraded received - some quick UI ideas
Hi team Deluge
Thankyou very much for provided the amazing upgrade retrofit programme.
My little girl has safely made it to AUS<-->NZ and it just simply feels like a brand new unitSo, without any complaint implied, here's a few little UI ideas now that you've got a dot-matrix playground.
1) When in SONG/Arranger MODE, nothing is displayed on screen. Maybe you've already got a plan for this, but if not - consider showing Song name when not playing,
2) Additionally to the above, show Song position counter when playing (maybe underneath the Song name)
3) When loading SYNTH or KIT, the loading box covers the Preset name. This makes it impossible to know which Preset is taking time to load (would actually be nice to be able to scroll-past long/loading samples btw). Consider placing [LOADING..] box over 'SYNTH' / 'KIT'
4) Also, for very short load times, mostly Synth presets, the [LOADING..] box flickers as the Preset loads faster than the draw routing. Not sure how/what could be done about this - but 3) above would be less distracting in any case.
Lastly, so far NO BUGs for me with 4.1.2
Great Work

Boesendorfer HQ Piano Multi Sample Pack
Hi. Great work mate.
Here's my tweaked version for anyone to try.
forums.synthstrom.com/uploads/editor/hv/85uh2yhvpkf0.zip
Has a smaller release than your first one (may be like your edited one above plus some more reverb), but I've also fine tuned the pitch offset a bit (to my ears) and remapped the keys so that they go from A0-C8 and have the correct KIT names to match the Wavs.
'C1 ' is C1
'C1 s' is C#1 etcUses the same wavs so no need to grab them again if you've already got them.
Song and Kit are both numbered 100 (to match my file layouts)
Looking forward to someone doing this with other instruments too

MIDI assigment stored with sound-presets!??
You may notice that the song 'version' will be sub-lettered. You can always save that back over the default numeric one. Remember to save a Synth or Kit, you have to be in the editor 1st (select an audition pad, click SELECT wheel such that PGM or similar appears, then SAVE. Roll SELECT back to get to numeric and hit SAVE again.
Note this would over-right the Kit. This won't change any other Songs using the kit, as Songs take their own copy. But it would then be updated for the next Song that loaded that kit.
To store this into the SONG, you'd still have to re-SAVE the song, either with the numeric you just over-wrote, or the sub-lettered, depending on which one was showing on the track when song is saved.
Lastly (I think), Kits and Synths are copied into Songs for their 'versions' .. but SAMPLES are NOT.
If you change a Sample, it changes everywhere, i.e. the sample data is not stored into the Song (or Kit), it is merely a file references to the SD card. -
