Any hub that has 3x+1 ports (other than a simply 4 port hub) is likely to be internally daisy-chained. This is why there a plethora of cheap 7, 10 and 13 ports out there ! So I'd stick with 4 port only for now. All three that I've tried that are…

Hi, most usb hubs with more than 4 ports are actually two hubs inside - one connected to a port of the first. This alas makes some of the ports appear as a hub-in-a-hub to the Deluge, which it doesn't support. You can test this by plugging your h…

I'd say that'd work just fine mate (Rohan actually says that the DC in was designed to run off of BOSS pedal supplies - so you're on the right path)
-
SOLID green once charged mate.

Don't have a 64gig SD card, but just tested the linked instructions on a 64gig USB key and it works fine. So it should work with a SD card too
-
Yep .. and I'll be in Auckland in September, if Rohan adds native Sustain pedal support (without having to learn it to the ADSR), then there's a few pints of beer in it for him if he was anywhere near me !!! Coz he's taken his Synth, Sampler, Dru…
-
fryyyy, thanks for all your work though. Coz I'm pretty sure it was this that lead to Rohan's development of this feature !!!! (really, hoping it does the multi-sample for both OSCs too - such that we can use the loud/soft folder pairs)

Hi Mute only mutes the internal sequencer. It was (during beta testing) temporarily made to mute incoming MIDI as well .. but more people (inc me) preferred it to only mute the internal sequence so that you could (for example) mute a store sequen…

Ok, not super experienced with either of those but .. * not sure about tempo changes mid-song, but you can semi-automate loading one song after another and it will do so in sync and respect each song's own tempo * OR - keep the segment of a di…

Digitakt is DC powered via PSU-3b no? So USB 0v could be internally isolated. Oh and most usb power supplies won't do the naughty 'tingle' .. but some a bl**dy dangerous.
-
Hi Alas this can happen with many things these days. USB ports 0v is connected to GND on most audio/music devices as USB does not use 'floating' supplies of 'differential' signalling. To add to this, if you look at bigclive's Youtube page, you…

The magic of the white instance is that, you can make one of any length in the Arranger, and it will then set the corresponding track section to the same. Is actually even quicker than using the track doubling short cut. So I use it to 'plan' out…

1) Yep, you can change a track from internal synth to midi and back with no issues. Did this on a recent flight and used all internal synth tracks .. then came home and re-routed some to my Nord Lead A1. 2) Nope. But yes you can scan the Song fil…

Hi, Not so much orchestral, but I am a 'traditional' music writer/tinkerer .. so yes possibly use the Deluge is a similar way to you. Apart from using it on a plane (to kill time), all of my Deluge compositions have been played in, in real tim…

Hi Alas this is just madness across nearly every bit of MIDI kit I've owned (a lot). There's simply no agreement on numbering between manufacturers. Its always 0-127 in the MIDI spec for all, but how it's displayed various. Even worse still, i…

Agreed re: shift/scroll.

Memory handling is greatly improved in 2.0 so far. So that one should be attended for you pretty soon (I hope)
-
No worries. Always happy to assist where I can mate.
-
Hi fryyyy, from what I know, only the CCs get mapped into kits. Notes stay with the Songs
-
Mostly keys, pads and leads and drums, compiled into a pretty 'typical' song structure (intro/verse/chorus/../../../etc). Occasional samples here and there. Internal sounds and external MIDI hardware. Not very EDM like. Also .. unplug it all a…

You may notice that the song 'version' will be sub-lettered. You can always save that back over the default numeric one. Remember to save a Synth or Kit, you have to be in the editor 1st (select an audition pad, click SELECT wheel such that PGM or s…

Hi Song file it ok, but kit file has some Transpose errors in it. Appears that OSC3 has carried over the -3 offset for all notes past C1. I've attached a hand-edited XML for the kit for you to view/compare/update/whatevs forums.synthstr…

:-) Happily added to my piano collection

Hi fryyyy, So that's what happening. Though it may have be me fumbling. In which case, its still doing this in 2.0b9 too
-
Great idea on the file naming .. as it also allows for shift-select to jump to major numbers (non lettered slots), resulting in much quicker scrolling through kits. I've actually renamed the M1 ones as well .. breaking them into like-groups under…

Whilst at it, why not blink the TAP TEMPO button in time with the tempo? If metronome is OFF, then blink it on once per beat. If metronome if ON, blink it off instead. just my 2¢ worth
-
This is amazing work mate. Massive 80's flashback. I swear they sound better on the Deluge than on Korg's own Gadget. And apart from your effort, given the M1 had some of the snappiest, most transient and fastest attacks sounds of the era, this r…

Nah, I chose (personally of course), A0-C8, as this is the 88 key range of a piano. MIDI itself goes from C-1 to G9 (0-127) .. btw .. but configurable is always good cheers .. keep going with it !
-
Or even multi-instrument splits !!!
-
.. although I did have to add A1, A#1 & B1 to the kit and reload it into my song to make the midi assignments align with you previous piano (albeit an octave up) Alas the song file allocated MIDI by kit rows as it has no knowledge of actua…
