Me? I'm a fan of SANDISK Extreme cards. 64Gb. Buy them from a reputable vendor (not an i've-never-heard-of-this-seller-before online vendor). There is no point saving a couple of bucks to find out you have a bought a cheap clone of a reliable …

Hi @clive I am by no means a MIDI expert - but I don't think you can use the Deluge to "play" the update to your Waldorf synth. I have a number of digital instruments at home, and firmware update over MIDI is the challenge that manufacturers like…

Hey @boule have you cracked the mystery yet? I've thought about your issue, and if you have tried a number of adaptors, the problem is most likely the battery inside the Deluge. If you have a new unit, the battery should be fine - but over time …

Hi @Heptagen I am late to the game here - but I wanted to say that both the audio and video are beautiful pieces of Art. I wish I had the skills to produce Art like you have. Thank you for sharing. MBC

Got it, @boule This is not expected behaviour. When you plug 9V DC into the power input on the Deluge, the LED lights green. Every time on my Deluge. So the adapter has a problem, or the Deluge has a problem. If I worked for Synthstrom, I w…

Just as an FYI, I use AC adapters that kick out 9 Volts rather than 12, and at least 500 mA Are you saying that when you plug in your AC Adapter, the LED doesn't light on the Deluge?
-
Yes @giovanni527 I formatted my SD cards to FAT32. I have a number of 32 Gb and 16 Gb SD cards and this worked fine. LMK if you have any difficulties. Michael

Hi @giovanni527 I don't pretend to be the Expert here, but I'll get you started. 1 - I use a variety of MS-Windows machines. When I insert a new SD-Card, it is recognised by Windows. You should be able to then right-click the SD Card within Wi…

Thank You for sharing, @RobMiles Your controllers are very attractive because of their simplicity. Well done for designing, building, and publishing your work.

Thank you for sharing, @ckbarlow

Hi @alive555 I have never needed to do what you want to do. So I'm no expert. To my simplistic thinking, could you not connect your Deluge to a USB Hub via the Deluge USB port, and then have the data (clock) sent to all devices which are also co…

Thanks for sharing @T1D3S I enjoyed listening to your composition, the guitar loop(s) are lovely.
-
I think your track is a wonderful reaction to a difficult time. I love that it feels upbeat and playful.
-
If the performance of the adapter matches the printed rating, it looks fine to use with your Deluge @rCc
-
Great work, @hamptonio It sounds to me like you have run some tracks through a flanger and a phaser, and I'm wondering if you used the Deluge for that, or something external.
-
Hey @tamlyn I agree that both spellings are allowed. From my technology background, the use of "dependent" is in the context of one object relying on another object - be that object a variable, a function, a procedure, a program, etc., The use…

Hi @galen I recommend you address the issues with the Guide / Manual direct to @Ian_Jorgensen

Still no fix for the spelling of "DependAnce", "DependAnt" in the Guide? (these words are spelled "Dependence" and "Dependent" respectively) A Find and Replace would take seconds ...

I truly enjoyed your track. Thank you for sharing it. Please share more, and I agree with @percussijan I would enjoy hearing a longer soundscape next time.
-
Thank you for sharing, @iluvsa I had a look on your Google Drive folder, and there is a lot to take in! ( lot of sub-folders to navigate). I will have a look and let you know how it sounds. MBC

From me, unfortunately, Bump. Perhaps @Too_Mere might have some insight. He's the smartest Guy I know using the Deluge.

Thank You, @volsteh for turning me on to Adventure Kid and his work. I realise I spelled the acronym wrong - my apologies - too much time spent working with Aho, Weinberger, and Kernighan. Thank you also to @oneANT for the instructions on how …

OK, it's the dumb kid here - what does the acronym AWKF stand for?

How Could a Sample become corrupted? Let me count the ways... 1 - A portion of memory on the SD card becomes unreliable and/or fails (not all SD cards are as reliable as you hope) 2 - When working with the SD card on a PC, a file becomes cached …

Dare I say it - "Hepta Pop"?
-
I enjoyed "You Can't Change Fighters" a whole lot. Snatch (2001) re-imagined with a 90's soundtrack.
-
I enjoyed listening to your piece @Heptagen Did you sample the piano elements yourself with the Deluge? Or sample them with another piece of hardware and import into the Deluge? I look forward to some more from you. Michael

Hi @D4tz There is a program called DELUGEATOR which is put together by @Bolgani He put it together to create new sounds and new kits. I do not pretend to be an expert, but the Author is! It may be worth your while downloading the program and h…

I've been pondering the question from @D4tz. - Total Honesty I have not yet played with multi-samples yet. But my understanding is: If you create a new synth using multi-samples, and save the new synth with the name "A1" then you should end up w…
