These sound great, thanks!

I can't believe I didn't know that. Thanks @lcoustik. If you're just pulling in an octave or so, the resample method above makes it quicker than fiddling with sample robot or something similar and swapping out your SD card. For reference in ca…

Is there any way to multi-sample using this approach. E.g. first resample C3, load Bot-top, then resample C5 and assign it to a specific range. I know how to multi-sample when all the notes are in a single folder and then it automatically assigns…

It's kinda strange though how often I hear something about the learning curve being steep. Right. The piano roll style combined with scroll and zoom is incredibly intuitive. For drum sequencing you can literally see the sequence of 8 drum tr…

The new playlists on your youtube channel are super useful, thanks.

Here's how I have it set up: * Midi cable from deluge -> MC-101 (USB on MC is very noisy) * Turn on Rx start/stop and clock in MC * Set the four MC tracks to midi channels 11-14 (easy to remember which channel is track 1 without hogging mi…

They're a great combo! Sounds similar to how I have mine set up, although I didn't bother re-organizing the note numbers in the TR-8S. The nice thing about keeping them the same is that they are based roughly on standard midi percussion note mapping…

Damn, that's clever.

I was dying for faster preset scrolling and/or subfolders until I re-organized all of my presets to start with the instrument type e.g. 'k.' for keys, 'p.' for pads, etc. Now I just open the search and type in 'k' and if anything it's faster than su…

I'm guessing the challenge is supporting an external software package in a small company. It takes a ton of resources and places you on a never ending treadmill. Even if you only support iOS (enraging half the population), you end up getting forced …

Well put. Literally every creative piece of hardware or software is missing just that one feature for some subset of users in order to fit their "perfect" workflow. But there is no single set of features that will be perfect for everyone. As it stan…

Combining a couple of ideas above, here is a way this could fit easily into the existing user experience: * Global parameter: COLOurs: STANdard, ROOT * The root color is taken from the root note of tone tracks (C3) and from the bottom most sam…

Yeah, I picked up a few synth packs (Boards, TAL, Rephazer Rust) and scrolling through all of them is quite slow. So a folder structure for Synth presets would be huge. Even a different shift scroll that skips past 10 at a time would be useful.

I just gave it a quick try with my regular Minilogue XD. I'm able to control the Deluge from my XD via USB but not vice versa. I can press play on the XD and that starts the sequencer on the Deluge. I can also midi learn the keyboard to play the Del…

It really is an amazing feat of art and engineering. I got mine a month or month and a half ago after doing a ton of research on groove boxes and have just been blown away by it. Whenever I see someone posting on reddit about limitations of other gr…

I've gotten the original Novation LaunchControl working (the small 16 knob, 8 pad one).

I just got my Deluge Friday, more features already?!
