for my current setup i use spacer tracks as a workaround: empty track with no notes and a red section color. song view overview is a big issue, agreed. naming things in 3.0 could help a lot.

funny idea. cirklon by sequentix can send them. did experiment, was fun to automate start, stop, continue. not that useful for me. if u want to control multiple sequencers with different stop/start messages from the deluge: u cant. midi stop/star…

amazing! sorry, some ranting: a tad disappointed FX dont seem to get attention. since about 2 years the only FX addition i can remember is the drive filter which is ok but not a killer. stutter automation, delay triplets, compressor are in demand s…

@definition said: Yes! I was just wondering if this was possible. Ableton’s Sampler does this and it’s awesome!!! It also does AM. Maybe LFOs at audio rates that do key tracking like the ones in Elektron’s Analog Four Dont k…

tinkered with stretch mode and short samples, can give "glitchy" results. imho a more powerful stretch mode would be insanely useful for glitch sounds (alike a radical Kontakt Timemachine) in the prepared pattern there are some other techniques i…

just a demo, stretch and start/end modulation would be insane

works out of the box with ewi 4000s. 👍 trills are a bit laggy on the deluge, velocity control is amazing

Yeah, thinking about a multi fx unit too, undecided.. H9: hard to beat in fx quality Zoia: good i/o, innovative interface, from the looks the perfect deluge match Organelle: if I was a PureData programmer upcoming https://www.moddevices.com/…

upvoted, yeah it is painful, by now i prepare all my sample folders to avoid the mentioned problems. similar request that makes use of the currently unused launch/section columns for better navigation in file browser http://forums.synthstrom.com/dis…

Yeah, thats how it is. For production i'd export all clips to wavs and import to a DAW (auto render a Song to single wavs is on the Deluge roadmap and will eventually come). For live i care less (loudness helps) that much but getting a good mix is a…

thanks @Ian_Jorgensen loads of insights. what ive seen from ur performances it works great for you. i like the way you associate your subsongs - will keep an eye on your "e" songs yeah, i also resave the songs to new preset slots so i dont get ca…

@p_wats said: So far I've been grouping all clips from the same section together. I also try to keep them in the same order (ie, drums at the first clip in a section, then bass, etc.). Yeah, I did the same thing. Now with Arranger things …

@iFreilicht said: Yes please, triplets arp sync is direly needed. Maybe (to not make options impossible to wade through), one could use the <> knob to set the "n-ness" of the arp pattern? So you'd select 4/3/5/7/dotted/whatever with <>…

good call

wow you are a genius @iFreilicht ! amazing, resoldering the power system.. i couldnt do that in my dreams 😀 hope rohan sees this. he could even do a new Deluge 2.0 Hardware “Host Version”. Same as the Deluge 1.0 but with your design plus an usb ou…

sadly no. you can only slice in a new, initialized kit (same for load ALL). at the point you have loaded a sample there is no slicing option anymore. you can alter start/end point of individual slices later though. for your use case i'd simply loa…

yeah this is my fav request regarding sound creation on the Deluge. @definition said: I've been experimenting with the "Sampler" device in Bitwig recently and it's an amazing tool. thanks for the tip, escaped my attention, always lo…

interesting to hear, was planning to get a usb power bank + hub too for an ipad+deluge travel setup. you wrote the usb hub is powered (own AC)? or powered by a power bank?

already suggested: http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/634/transients-slicer-mode/p1 pocket operator does transient detection and auto-trimming. for slicing bpm sensitive samples the current mode is still needed.

the popular command section in the manual is complet-ish i think. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1FAeJ5f1sl3kKJgvbKmGRe3PIMjkaYrh3eAXF05PAV6k/mobilebasic#h.4sa9ubk05d5r follow cursor and a few other commands are missing though

Cool device, escaped my attention, thanks for posting. yeah, i think rbg matrix pads are getting more popular in hardware design. Tempted, missing some analogue circuits and more audio inputs though. instabuy if the dsp effects were Eventide Orvil…

good call, no upvote from me for this though: i dont use the clip transpose function a lot. if scale is active and if you transpose by semitones (shift + push + turn) it changes all clips. instead when i want to transpose i use copy and paste, p…
