There’s currently not a way to trigger the clip solo function or the resample via MIDI. You may be able to accomplish close what you want if instead of soloing you mute all clips, then you automate the unmuting of clips. You can learn MIDI to the…

Most gold knob parameters for synths or kit rows can indeed be mapped to a controller. Just go into the corresponding shortcut then press and hold learn and turn the knob on your MIDI controller.
-
Not really a feature currently. There is a workaround involving a MIDI cable from out to in. Then learning notes to the TAP command and sequencing them. There is no publicly available roadmap of upcoming firmware updates.

@rohan this does seem like unintended behavior. Possible bug. If clips are shortened in arranger view, the arrangement seems to end playback where it should. But if another song is queued to load, the song waits until the original clip length befo…

Cool. No problem 👍🏼

If this is your first time updating the firmware on your Deluge I don’t think you would find a bin file on there. The bin file is what the Deluge reads to perform the update. But once updated, the bin file has no function. The firmware is stored in …

Yes, I’m able to reproduce this bug. Not sure about other crashes you’ve had. This seems specific to the process you describe above.
-
Good find! @rohan should be able to fix

If you delete a song, the folder will still exist. There’s currently no way to delete folders using the Deluge. Need a computer for that. You could try searching the song title on the SD card with a computer to check if it’s still on there and wh…

If you do a collect all save it creates a folder with the same name. If you select one of these folders to load as a song it will show the dashes as it is not a song file.

Not sure but this sounds like a potential hardware issue with your Deluge. I’d recommend filling out this form to contact Synthstrom https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeTP-eDaaDOmU4-WRXcVhQIoIBd8bkLC_Up4_Lt1RbYZXA-xQ/viewform

Okay cool. Glad that’s working for you! 👍🏼

The Deluge can indeed receive MIDI from multiple channels at once. Connecting the controller directly to the Deluge should work as expected. I have a feeling Ableton is filtering what is sent. Setting monitoring to on for those Ableton tracks may wo…

Yes, the Deluge can sample in stereo
-
Nope. I see others have had this problem because of hidden files on the root level of the SD card. Maybe check for hidden files there and get rid of any you find.
-
The wav files types you describe should work fine with the Deluge. I’m not familiar with LumaFusion but I’m wondering if it’s doing anything else to the files that could cause an issue. I’d be happy to take a look at the files in question if you pos…

@Heptagen said: Sure. Set up a new audio clip, set input to "stereo" and adjust volume / filter / fx to taste. This will run next to your drum track. Stereo with the dot on the end will include monitoring, allowing the signal to pass thru.

Happy to help! 👍🏼

The Deluge cannot read MIDI files. The way to transfer them would be to play the MIDI files on computer, send to the Deluge, and record in real time.

In instrument clips you can trim the end by holding shift and turning the horizontal knob. You can’t trim the beginning but can move all notes of the clip forward or backwards in time by pressing and holding the vertical knob while turning the horiz…

I think those values 0-127 are notes, not CC. CC 23, for example can send values 0-127 to control parameters. CC are not used to trigger drums in any configuration I’m aware of. The process I explained above should work for what you explained, ye…

This is possible but you will need to enter clip view for changing start/end points or copy/pasting. Are you talking about instrument clips, audio clips or both?
-
No problem 👍🏼 If you want to adjust to a specific numeric value you’ll need to use the transpose shortcut.
-
Custom 1 is by default mapped to pitch in kits. When you turn the knob near the middle the lights that shows it’s value will flash when you reach center. Then pitch will be unaffected.

Synthstrom has made it clear that they currently have a very large list of feature requests that they are currently working on, in addition to actual bug fixes that prevent errors, freezing, or unintended behavior. They have enough to keep them bu…

I’m not sure what you mean by “MIDI CC note”. I don’t believe kit rows can send CC values. But it can send MIDI notes. Just hold the audition pad and press MIDI. While still holding the audition pad, turn the lower gold knob to set the desired MI…
