That’s so weird! I tried replicating on my end and I’m not getting any artifacts. Wish I could tell what the difference is. Glad you have a workaround to get it to play without artifacts though.

LINK is only used for syncing over Wi-Fi. Clearly something is amiss, just not sure what. Other thing is to maybe double check clock settings on the Deluge. Song position is only applicable in arranger view. Song mode is like Ableton session vi…

Get rid of any unused kit rows, especially with longer samples. Then save and restart to clear more RAM
-
Maybe check Ableton preferences and make sure it’s sending sync to Deluge and not receiving it as well. That may cause issues.

@Hannes said: I doubt that. but maybe... Did you ever try to slave Deluge to Ableton and playing back audio tracks that are on the Deluge? I regularly do this. This is how I transfer audio clips to Ableton for mixing/mastering. I wi…

You can have 16 different MIDI channels to program external gear. And have 16 different internal instrument controlled by controller(s) on different channels. And yes, infinite internal instruments, limited only by CPU, which will simply cause voice…

Yeah that’s odd. I don’t use Logic but I use Ableton in this way and don’t have this issue. If tempos are matching I’d assume this is a case of clock jitter from Logic.
-
For internal synths instruments, just press and hold Learn + the audition pads within the the clip and then press a key on the MIDI controller. That will assign whichever MIDI channel is currently being sent from the controller to that synth instrum…

Audio clips are indeed warped to the Deluge’s tempo. Is Logic sending a different clock tempo than what the audio was recorded at?

The LFO rate shortcut is just below the sync shortcut. It’s also typically mapped to the mod rate gold knob. It won’t be synced but should be able to achieve the same/similar result.
-
The LFO sync parameter cannot currently be automated. You can instead automate the LFO rate parameter but sync must be set to OFF.
-
Whatever PGM settings you choose should be sent whenever you launch that MIDI clip. Is there perhaps SUB or BANK settings that need to be set for the particular preset and/or device you are sending to?
-
Volsteh’s instructions are indeed how you name instruments and audio tracks within a song. In that particular song, the new names will be present in song and clip views. If you want to change the synth or kit preset names for future use in other …

No, LFOs don’t work on audio tracks. You can automate the filter movement recording the gold knob. Or you can select line in as osc type on a kit or synth to monitor the Subharmonicon and would then have the ability to modulate with LFOs.

No problem! 👍🏼

When loading the file into a new kit press and hold select. Then you’ll be able to select SLICE. You can then pick the number of slices you’d like to slice it into. Now each row will be a different part of the audio file. You can also use the wavefo…

That is not currently possible. Synthstrom is not accepting feature requests at this time.

Both MOD1 and MOD2 modulate both carriers. Setting MOD2 destination to MOD1, modulates MOD1 with MOD2 and the carriers are then unaffected (directly) by MOD2. I’m not aware of plans to add this functionality to MOD1, tho that is what Soon would im…

I believe you’re correct. To achieve what you’re after, I think you’d have to limit the kit to gates 2-4. Then you can send CV 1 without gate 1 hooked up to anything.

Audio recorded into audio clips is stored in the CLIPS folder under SAMPLES. The audio is first stored in a TEMP folder until saving the song. So after you record the audio clip, save the song. Then within the audio clip use the browse shortcut. T…

For songs named with numbers, 5, 5a, 5b, 5c, you can hold shift and turn select to skip past the letter revisions. This doesn’t work with songs named with letters, however. To answer the other two questions, no, not currently possible.

In terms of pitch, it works similarly to the sample engine. C3 is the unaltered pitch of the incoming signal. D3 for example, would transpose the sound two semitones higher. In most use cases it’s good to have either the source audio or the sequence…

He’s using a kit clip, loading the samples onto a kit row. The loop markers are only available in kits or synth clips. Audio clips in song view will always loop from start to end.

Audio clips do use stretching to fit the audio to the size of the clip if they otherwise wouldn’t match. Moving the red end marker in clip view (not waveform view) will not cause stretching. For example, let’s say you record a two measure audio lo…
