Gosh that does sound risky. I would look into ways of removing stuck screws. SD cards are small and light but there are many small fragile components inside. Wouldn’t want anything serious going wrong. Good luck! 🤞

I’m not certain about whether or not thru applies to USB connections. Devi specifies MPE but also allows you to set default velocity sensitivity per device. Diff is the setting that differentiates each device connected by USB. When on each dev…

That shouldn’t be an issue. But if your SD is more than 32gb it’ll need to be formatted to FAT32, which may need to be done on the computer.
-
No problem! Yes, global reverb is affected by sidechain to the same extent as whichever sound has the most reverb. Or you can use the sidechain parameter under the reverb settings menu to dial it in.
-
Mod depth will control the rate of the effect. But no, LFOs, like envelopes, are are not currently available within audio clips.
-
Are you certain you have the correct contents in the SD? Just the folders I mentioned above? Maybe try another SD card if you can. Also make sure you’re getting power. Maybe check that the battery is properly seated and plug in mains power.
-
The reverb parameter works like a send to a master reverb effect. If you’re trying to cut the reverb tail short you’ll need to resample the sound with reverb and then you’ll have more sculpting possibilities.

I’ve just tested and found that dropping a row of 16th notes seems to send gates just fine. When the synth has a longer decay/release these gates may get ignored due to gate already being open. I found that using a quicker envelope makes the issue g…

I believe priority is something also determined by the synth you’re using.
-
There’s not a setting for this. You likely can set whatever synth you’re sending MIDI to as monophonic and should get what you’re after.
-
No change to regular cc assignment. But the X and Y directions are detected as MPE and can be selected as mod sources. There’s other ways you could isolate and send the desired cc for the learning process. For one you could connect MIDI out to MI…

The frequency shortcuts are just just above the adjust shortcuts for each band. There’s a line that reaches to them from the word “frequency” near the LPF.
-
No problem! 👍🏼

If you jump out to song view, the clip collapses to one row and you can see if there are any notes that show up there. That should tell you if there are notes in that portion of the clip. There’s not really a way to know if they’re above or below …
-
Thanks, you too!

Only way to jump in that case is to do it with typing. Turning the select knob will only skip letter revisions of numeral saves if you hold shift. So like saves 1A, 1B, 1C, etc. can be skipped to 2 when holding shift. This is currently the only sk…

If you simply type “A” or “B” after pressing Load + synth, it should jump to those presets. Can type the numbers as well. Also, in 4.0 firmware, now in beta, users can organize presets with folders

No worries! Happy Birthday! So first make sure the new is correctly formatted to fat32. That process varies from Mac to pc. If it’s a new card that’s 32gb or lower you may not need to do this. * Download the factory content from Synthstrom. …
-
In that case, I’d start with only factory content folders and 3.1.5 bin on the card. Then attempt the reset. If you get it working again, you can add your previous content from the other card.
-
No problem! 👍🏼 I would just put all the duplicates together with the same color (notes, not section) and keep at the top, offscreen.
-
That’s not quite how SHAR works. SHAR is applied to a section, not specific clip. And it allows that section to be launched without muting other clips (unless those clips share the same instrument or track) To get what you’re after, I think it …
-
Not sure what you mean by order of downloading and installing. Just make sure to add all folders/factory content and the bin file on the root menu. Then update by inserting SD card and holding shift while powering on the Deluge.
-
Are you using the beta? There is better support for MPE with 4.0, currently in beta.

@ambient said: I make a track, go to song mode, press on the track line and hit Save/Delete… nothing. I do same thing and hit Shift + Save/Delete… nothing. What is the secret to getting this thing to respond? I am now either manual…
