@moulfrit said: Very cool, but.....where is the samples folder ? Thank you there is no sample folder available. you have to buy the corresponding sample packs from Samples from Mars.

very nice! Thank you very much. For the synths I can also recommend the software "Preset Maker". Makes the whole process much faster... Unfortunately the "Kit Maker" software is not suitable yet for Deluge Kits. It has to be updated by the develope…

@reza said: once u have the two recordings in audio clips: enter audio clip 1, hit shift+browse and then exit (saves location of last browsed file) go to into kit, press an audition pad+load then confirm the first sample. do the same with the …

ok maybe I should try things first and then post the question here. What I now did is to use audio clips and make use of the continuous overdub function. I record the first 4 bars in one audio clip and the next four bars in the second audio clip. S…

yes that's certainly what I did so far in similar situations...

Hi my friend, yeah I wanted to avoid the duplicate clip thing because I find it's getting messy the more clips you add. I thought there may is another way. But ok.... Thanks!
-
ok got it. the tail pads are not considered as "notes". terminology is sometimes not completely clear to me. because the tail pads to me are "steps" of the sequencer. that's why I thought they could be step-automated. but yeah, whatever... Thanks a…
-
yeah ADSR usage probably is the best method for this! but regarding step automation: when the sample mode is set to "cut" for example, then the whole sample is shown as bright (first) and dimmed (tail) pads. the step automation obviously does not…

@Too_Mere said: Once Audio2 exists, you can turn the select knob within any audio clip to select Audio1 or Audio2. Now two different audio clips may play at once. That was the point at which I failed yesterday. I just tried it again …

sorry mate, I'm more confused now than in the beginning actually What you mean when saying "track"? You're in arranger view when saying that? I am referring to song view. There I have two audio clip rows which both are labelled "audio1". I wa…
-
sorry but I must be doing something wrong or it just doesn't work. I have two audio clips. both are "audio1" at the moment. How exactly can I unlink them so that I can play both simultaneously? I tried what you said but that doesn't change anything.…
-
ah ok! I thought it is not possible to unlink audio clips. see this thread: https://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/3273/how-to-unlink-cloned-audio-clip
-
Yes! The enter/exit thing does the trick. Although I find it a bit strange that you have to do this after you added a new audio track. I would expect Deluge to expect looping on that track, no?! Thanks too_mere again!

UPDATE: just recorded a little guitar line as audio track into the deluge. tempo set at 94. Ableton set to 94. Ableton Master, Deluge Slave. it's all the same audio is smashed until I mute/unmute it. Also doesn't matter which of both is Master…
-
weird as f*** ! but actually even though its a workaround, that's no alternative. I mean just imagine you'd have several audio tracks and would have to do that on every single one. simply not possible/applicable/whatever. So Deluge is Master now.…
-
ah ok I thought LINK is to sync external MIDI gear. However. I noticed the following: Deluge is Slave. Hit Play in Ableton. Deluge starts playing and audio is smashed. I then SHIFT+MUTE on the Deluges audio track and right after that, do so agai…
-
I mean, I could live with Deluge being Master but actually I want to know what's wrong here... also: it's not a problem of MIDI sync delay settings in Ableton. midi clock sync delay is set to zero and both metronome are perfectly aligned. by the…
-
no. doesn't solve it. I think by clicking either LINK or EXT in Ableton you set it to either listen to clock or sending clock. can't be both at the same time I think. but also when I disable Deluge as Sync Input in prefs, it doesn't solve it.
-
just tried it with Ableton: its the same. when Ableton is Master and Deluge is slave, the audio on the Deluge gets smashed. I am sure that the tempo while recording on the deluge was set to 94 with the tempo knob. no tap tempo or anything. by the …

thank you anyway

you mean I/O buffer in Logic's prefs for the Interface? Tried that with no success.
-
I doubt that. but maybe... Did you ever try to slave Deluge to Ableton and playing back audio tracks that are on the Deluge?
-
@sven_blob said: I use ableton too', slave to the Deluge to rec stems and works very well are you using a dedicated MIDI interface to connect to your Computer or are you just going USB out Deluge -> USB in Computer? I wonder if a MI…
-
yeah that's probably it. I might try an other USB cable. who knows... thanks for your help! regarding Ableton: you mean you're using Ableton as Master? good to know that it works obviously....

just tried it: makes no difference if I trigger PLAY (i.e. recording) from Logic or from Deluge when recording the audio. It gets messed up when afterwards triggering Play from Logic but not at all when triggering Play from Deluge directly. Thats …
-
mmhhh. I recorded the audio of the synth by triggering it from the deluge (MIDI clip). So MIDI -> Synth -> Audio Out of Synth -> Mixer -> Audio Clip into Deluge. I think I pressed Play on the Deluge when I did that. Maybe it makes a dif…

@LegsMechanical said: Couldn’t someone develop a script that funds and edits the velo modulation in the preset xml files in batch? Problem solved. (Maybe I’ll try this evening… feeling very lazy tho. ) Yes good idea. But I wasn't refer…

Hi everyone, I also have this issue of high velocity. It appears when I record from my external controller into a midi clip. all the midi notes have very high velocity values at "normal" playing. in my case, this causes piano vst's to sound very ha…

ah ok I thought the start trimming thing would only be possible in kits... thanks!

Logic can't be slaved unfortunately
