Yes, I know I can delete presets from the SD card, but it's tedious to note down the numbers and all that. It seems logical to be able to delete presets as described above, especially as they can add up quickly. Being able to delete samples the s…

I fully support a macro-level arrangement view of some sort. In nearly every sketch I've had so far with multiple sections, I've had to duplicate tracks that are the same across sections. Also, with many tracks, the song view can get messy. Now, …

By the way, I came across a couple of situations related to the functionality @MatthewGeorge mentions. I've had notes that extend across pages. Say you need 16th note resolution, but quarter note lengths, and you want the note start at the end of ba…

I was looking forward to making patches with some old rompler samples (JD-800, Wavestation, PPG Waveterm), but gave up that idea for now. Sampling back in the day often made use of an initial attack portion and then loop from a set point. Further sh…

Would love to be able to arm recording and start on the first note.

Regarding resonance and a lot of other settings, they are stored per preset, then per track-preset (once part of a song) and then per song (if affect entire song is activated). Resonance as adjusted from the gold knobs is the same as resonance in th…

NRPNs are used for greater resolution, using two CCs for 14 bits of range instead of 7 bits. The Deluge seems to put most parameters on a 0-50 range, but they are actually much higher resolution, I believe (32 bit). NRPNs would seem appropriate, but…

Combined with auto-extending recording, you could also record for a minute, find a part you like, slide it to the beginning, and shorten the track.

Great idea. Might as well give us the option to hold multiple notes if we're up for a finger workout. I think there's room for a lot more shortcuts like this one.
-
I like this one too. Having a root note is perfectly fine for chromatic mode unless you're doing 12-tone, and the colours indicate low and high octaves as well.
-
I love this idea, especially since the column lights seem totally unused in chromatic mode. I keep having to hit the audition buttons to find the right ones.

Yes, please! Having to "learn" to play notes is a weird default to me. The learn function is nice in itself, but I'd rather have it as an override, and auto focus as default. Somewhat related, maybe there should be some indication of what track t…

I don't think it matters much what you do beforehand. I was able to replicate it with all the synth presets i tried.
-
Ah. I have to be in the sound editor, meaning some part of the sound editing menu tree has to be active, to save the preset. Once I've done that, I can load that preset for each of the tracks. Mystery solved!

I also like your comments, funktree. Maybe you should make a feature request post.

Thanks for trying to clear this up, Rohan. What you are saying makes sense, but it doesn't really apply. I haven't explained myself well enough, sorry. I don't want multiple copies of the same preset playing at once. The song has two different…

Thanks for the quick reply, Ian. I'm sure we will get back to this at some point, I just wanted to get the request up.

Right now recording is quantized to the current zoom level. If the current max zoom level is 64ths, the current shortest possible note is a 64th triplet, and the clock resolution is 96 ppqn (I think I read on Facebook), then 256th triplets should…

Yes, please! I use Aftertouch with nearly all my synth patches. Ideally, I'd like to have the Deluge both respond to aftertouch from an external source, and being able to record it.
