I use this one from Amazon (US): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD54Q66/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fab_3apEFb4PJ0P9M

Not normal. Is your Deluge running the latest firmware? If not, try updating that first. http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/3147/deluge-firmware-v3-1-3-released#latest

@rpc9943 said: This would be useful in the following: 1. make a bass line 2. duplicate pattern to 2 bars 3. zoom in to the 2nd bar 4. transpose screen would enable us to zoom in and change just the duplicated pattern's note values …

Thank you @neilbaldwin ! This is very handy.

@joma said: Hello, thanks for an awesome update! I have noticed something that I find a bit peculiar. When using audio tracks in earlier firmware versions, I would get the sound from my guitar through the line in port with a mono cable on the …

@neilbaldwin said:> Which is the correct section to report bugs so that they get seen? I would post bug reports here: http://forums.synthstrom.com/categories/deluge-questions-feedback Also, it's helpful to tag rohan within the mes…

@neilbaldwin said: There seems to be a bug with the note repeat. If you place a note and extend it longer than 1 grid pad, then set the note repeat, the note gets truncated to one grid pad and the repeats all happen within 1 division of th…

Changing folder names will cause the Deluge to error when loading projects that contain paths to the old naming. You can still load the song, but you will have to manually re-assign relevant synths/samples. Also, you can save directly to the curr…

Not normal. You should contact Synthstrom support directly: https://synthstrom.com/contact/

Nice jam, I dig it.

Have you tried examining the recorded waveform on your computer to see if clipping is present?
-
Are you using the latest OS? I had this problem on the previous version, but so far not happening on newest release.

@manateemilitia said: Here are the instructions to fix this that Ian sent me when I first got my Deluge and emailed him about it: Hey manateemilitia, so it might seem odd, but the Deluge is malleable, designed to be such that if dropp…

Same problem here, unfortunately. Love my Deluge, but really wish it would sit flat on the table.

Have you tried re-installing the current firmware? http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/2522/deluge-firmware-v3-0-2-released#latest

@recursor said: I'm wondering if I need to monitor the output of the Microbrute (on the Deluge input) and then affect that... hah, not even sure if that's possible. Yes, that's exactly how to do it.
-
Yes, it's possible, but you cannot monitor the signal coming back in on the Deluge without creating a feedback loop. The easiest way to get around the problem is to use an external mixer in the signal chain, and monitor from that.

Thanks for the update! I had the "rare crash when saving a song after deleting, changing or adding sounds within a kit" bug a few days ago, it was heartbreaking.
-
Thanks for trying Looks like I found the answer in a previous thread: @Icoustik said: A synth's master volume IS the audio level of that clip. A kit clip needs to have all its volumes learned to one CC to control the volume of the whol…

Tried that too, it doesn't work either. There must be some way to do this, it's such a common function.
-
Yes, tried that, but it only controls the level of an individual voice in the Kit (osc 1 + osc 2).
-
This is a great feature idea.

Adding to the info: On Windows 10, formatting a SD card larger than 32gb to FAT32 (required by Deluge) needs an external program. This free program works: http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm

The default velocity of 64 is because of the internal gain staging inside the Deluge. Putting all samples and synths at velocity 100 will quickly result in internal clipping and overdriving the LPF. However, I do think it's a good option for MIDI, …

Oscillator Volume can be randomized to create pseudo velocity-randomization when using the internal sound engine (OSC Volume>Random), but it's not sent over MIDI. Similarly, the Envelope Release can be randomized to create a quasi randomized no…

Dull sounding? I find the DAC in the Deluge (Cirrus Logic CS4270) to be quite bright sounding actually. Often too much so. Have you tried using the Deluge's onboard EQ on your samples to add energy/life? Also, resampling internally and then transfer…

The Deluge does tend to have some clicks in the audio stream, but there are workarounds... Are you using the newest firmware (2.1.3)? (previous firmware had this problem) Do the clicks appear randomly throughout the sample? Do they continue whe…
