It'd be great to have a hidden keyboard shortcut to put the deluge in graphic equalizer mode - eg bar equalizer, color equalizer etc.

I suggested using the grid as a 16-band equaliser here - http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/949/show-grid-as-16-band-equalizer
What I meant is really a vizualizer - not an equalizer. Something that would blink all over the place while playing a track.
