Haven't been able to find this anywhere but perhaps I've missed it. It would be handy to be able to set the default audio recording source. It defaults to 'left' and when setting up a loop for the first time it's another step needed (not a biggie!) be good if you could set it from within the settings for RECOrd.
The way around it at the moment is to create an empty audio clip with the desired input source (stereo for me), save that as part of the song and then when you load it the next time it's set to match the previous source.
hi guys, just been searching the forum for 'recording' bits... found this thread. forgive me for chiming in, i'm not sure the looping element is what i'm after but it's in the same ball park.
i think Ke10g nailed it, i'd like to be able to record an audio track (perhaps guitar or vox) in the arranger. the idea being i've done the rhythm section and would like to just lay vocals down over the the top from start to finish whilst it's playing back within the arranger. if it started on the next nearest bar that would be great and would just record until the red button is pressed again.
so yeah +1. keep up the good work Synthstrom, awesome kit.
1) Clone the clip - hold one clip in song view and press another row
2) Enter the cloned clip and clone the synth/kit itself! Hold load and press either the synth or kit button to open the loading interface, then simply hold load again with and the screen will say CLONe - hit load once more to do so, and now the clip is unique and independent. Boom
You my friend are a legend! thank you so much for taking the time to reply! that's fab :-)
Thanks for the quick release! was hitting the E325 error here and there.
