Default audio source for recording setting

Haven't been able to find this anywhere but perhaps I've missed it. It would be handy to be able to set the default audio recording source. It defaults to 'left' and when setting up a loop for the first time it's another step needed (not a biggie!) be good if you could set it from within the settings for RECOrd.
The way around it at the moment is to create an empty audio clip with the desired input source (stereo for me), save that as part of the song and then when you load it the next time it's set to match the previous source.
