This is for you @janbert ! Midi Follow Mode with Midi Learning View Master midi follow mode whereby after enabling the mode, you set a master midi follow channel and all midi (notes + cc’s) received on that channel will be directed to control …

@Synthbert said: Just installed the latest community firmware and the master compressor seems gone. Anyone know how to keep track of changes like this? It’s still there it just changed. The usage is different and the OLED UI was removed (…

We have a web based remote screen app: @workergray said: @seangoodvibes: do you happen to know the pixel dimensions of the OLED? width/height? I don’t know sorry! @bfredl might!

We have a PC remote screen web based app that let's you emulate OLED from 7SEG and vice versa: https://bfredl.github.io/delugeclient/app.html It works on Google Chrome Smartphone based app's aren't in the horizon for a while. I tested the a…

@yamaciller said: yes and yes. Just as a thought.. Could there be a mode which you set, which would light up the PAD corresponding to the parameters which are connected? E.g. when the Mode lets call it "Show assignments" is enabled, …

I’m going to start working on this

@yamaciller said: Didnt know that One Knob can be assigned multiple times. huh. Well sure that can become very complex. Its more that when you assign a midi input, and you forget which one it was, you will never find the assignment again. M…

@yamaciller said: Okay.7Seg would maybe only show the value itself. On the OLED it would make lot of sense. Especially when a lot of Parameters are assigned (which is pretty handy), the usability would be improved a lot. Looking forward. …

It should be doable to create an automation lanes view as part of arranger. Adding it to instrument clips was really the first proof of concept.
-
@normalmusic said: This is an awesome feature and I wanted to ask how it may be used with CV1 and CV2 outputs. It seems it's not working right now on CV instruments, but I'm hoping to use it to just control CV parameters, for example paint-in CV …

We have the ability now in the community build to quickly designate notes on the grid as “fill notes” and at the press of a button you can activate those notes. I think this is a step in the direction of what you’re looking for.

@janbert said: Hi. I am not sure how to describe it best for what I am looking for. I believe for the elektron syntakt its called param lock. Its basically being able to change a parameter, for example noise level, pitch, decay,.... …

@bnhrsch said: Thanks @seangoodvibes for this amazing feature! This is huge, you did an awesome job! I wonder if it would be possible that the automation and the notes could have different clip lengths. What I mean by that is when you are …

You’re welcome 🤩! Glad you like the feature 😊!

@Phil said: Wow! What can we do with those slices? Can we sequence them on the grid like kit tracks? How does this work? If I’m not mistaken it loads the slices up as kit row sounds in the sidebar that you can then sequence

@duncandisorderly said: or you hold an audition pad while you're looking at a kit/drum pattern, & it shows you a graph on the matrix of all the velocities for that sound..... actually, being able to adjust the velocities in this way would be …

Hi everyone, I made this feature request happen here! It is now part of the community open source firmware and will continue to be improved over time. https://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/5476/automation-view-mode#latest

@Myrk said: In the name of the title! I'd like to be able to use the internal mod matrix on external midi devices. A great example of this is with drums. Within the deluge currently you can get each lane of a drum track and assign it to ra…

@Phil said: Some cool features that come to mind seeing this: * per automation lane length. * Automation linked/stored to/in note row and is muted/unmuted with note (store automation on empty row), with a led feedback indication on …

@chrisroland said: do we know if it's a potential ad to the firmware down the road? coming from Hapax, drawing on the grid is a pretty handy feature Yes it is https://github.com/SynthstromAudible/DelugeFirmware/pull/241

Bump for this idea! This is a really great suggestion. Producing a full song on the deluge can be really cumbersome when you start to have many different components. Scrolling can be so tiresome and overwhelming. If you can have a full song on one 8…

I also found this on the Deluge discord that might be helpful for you! Credits to 1[wild]rogue and postsolarpunk 🙂

Thanks for sharing these! Just learned about this functionality 😍

Absolutely you can do some of this. You have the ability to enter Euclidean patterns and adjust note probability and iteration dependence. I’m attaching some screenshots from the manual for reference!

@Glider said: @Alter said: It seems that deluge crashes when scrolling with only one item in the folder. Yep! I think that got picked up and fixed in the beta channel so, if all goes well, OLED folks should see that f…
