That kit workaround @jscottk mentioned is pretty clever. Need to experiment with that one.
-
My first reply to this thread was how to sample automaticly on the measure.

Was just thinking a "secondary" song mode that is like abletons session mode, as has been suggested before, to use the matrix as a track launcher, would be great for fast cuts and fills. They could be un quantized or at various notes, quarter eight …

fine here

i've been using the w-04 card for a couple of months now. I havn't noticed any lag in read/write time. I dont use the wifi pass thru. I have had files go missing, which I cant account for. Not placing direct blame anywhere, so take that with a gra…

Exciting!

@Icoustik great to hear ram management is still able to be addressed and is. Any idea when the firmware is going to drop?
-
midi cc record automation is possible, if thats what your wanting. you have 16 knobs per track you can assign ccs to. Its not "learnable", so you need to know the value you want to control, but its pretty straight forward to set.
-
Sorry, thats not the original op's suggestion. (Mod feel free to delete that)

@kai said: I don't know if it's possible but I'ld love to have a clean up function which deletes all recorded or resampled samples which are not related to any saved song. That would be really helpful for me because when I use external instrument…

If your pads send on 10, you should be able to learn onto a midi track set to 1, which will send out to your pads that receive on 1. Maybe im missing something?
-
Or try learing the pads onto midi ch1. The deluge will jus learn whatever it is sent
-
Learn your mpx16 pads onto a deluge midi track set to anything but ch1...then copy the notes onto a deluge midi track set to send on 10?
-
@Ljk similar to turning on cap-locks on a qwerty keyboard. Having a way to temporarily "lock" on the shift button modifier. Then you wont need two fingers and less wear and tear. It gets a lot of use as a shortcut key. Be nice to double tap and h…

Yeah, its only when its the first to launch. Guess i hadnt noticed it before, since theres usually a track playing at start. I had been setting up a tr-8 midi slaved with no tracks playing on the deluge yet. Was launching a midi track to add fills …
-
so i guess you need a track to be launched first in order to sync another.

@Icoustik said: In track view all the audition pads also function as shift buttons thanks @icoustik i did not know that

holding shift also skips sub-songs

Ive had samples go missing from the wifi card. So anyone going the wifi card route id suggest making routine backups and using a standard card for shows.
-
@alien_brain cool. that's good to know about a 6 out. I've looked for one with more than 4, but never thought to ask for a custom.
-
To zoom in on the note youre holding down, like youve described would be nice though, for sure!
-
Not exactly the same, but from song mode, it will take you to the measure you tap on, at the resolution youre in. For example, zoom all the way out and look at the song overview, you have a two bar track you want to go into at 16th notes on the s…

You can use that feature to cool effect when deluge is slaved. I thnks its: hold shift and down press the tempo knob and it will halve the tempo. Also in track mode, hit the sync scaling button and the tempo will stretch to fit the length of the tra…

No. The step jump on the tribes is a sequencer effect. Meaning, its not from chopped samples but triggering the 16th note divisions of the pattern sequencer. It can be done on the synth version also. This video is demostration something of an und…

A "collect all samples and save" feature that collects all used samples and places them in a seprate dedicated song folder and references that folder after save would be great.
-
+1 Pretty good suggestion.
-
Thanks @amiga909. I was hoping to not need to add a filter.
