Not to detract from your suggestion, but to offer something of a work-around I use: -Make a new 'dummy kit track' -find a folder you want to load and browse; long press and load all -now your dummy track will have every sample you want to auditio…

Turn off the scale feature on all the tracks that have any notes recorded out of the scale. This is what lets you change key and scale in different sections of the same song.
-
----Build unique, low cpu kits for any song, quickly by browsing existing kits!----- This "trick" works since the Deluge will load any sample starting off from the last opened/ browsed location. Let's say you load an existing kit of 100 kicks in…

many thanks, sicca. good selection of kits for the deluge and nice website too.
-
Thanks! Some really nice patches.
-
Just a thought and it would add some steps, but doing a 'collect all and save' would get you a project folder with only your used samples.
-
Cool, thanks for the link!
-
Thank you Rohan and Ian and team for this continued labor of love! Continually impressed.

fantastic stuff on your Rust ep.

deluge was updated awhile back, so now the "cross-screen" button enables a following playback head in arranger mode.

@darenager You have some good ideas for the Deluge, I've noticed. Have I read you saying you don't do facebook? You would be helpful on the next beta tester round. I don't do the fb either, but did create a dummy account just to join. Just sayin.…

Hope you find one, Eric. Maybe ask on fb also.
-
Until its sorted out one way or another, maybe you could leave a one bar "dummy" blank track running, to keep launch in time.

heya, @bRz feel free to share what you figure out while learning the Deluge on: http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/1168/tips-and-tricks#latest If you come up with suggestions, maybe have a look at: http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussions/to…

@will 22 is the sensible amount of antique brass bells. Ive seen 32 modern copper bells on a similar setup, but with your hub motor vs the traditional external motor, you went with the right choice😄 Really, thats crazy sounding though! Crazy😎 T…

Ive come very close, a few times now, to hitting the buy-now button on a Handsonic. Seems a good pal for the Deluge.
-
Awesome, Will. You should be up to speed with the Deluge in no time, and considering your experience with the electronic world of kit, you could have some great ideas and new tips to share with us.

Yeah, needs to be a clone when its the same channel. Glad you got it sorted. Have a great show Saturday!
-
Well, I'm grateful you've made your version, @amiga909 😊 Options are nice and sometimes necessary for some. You could probably add some more functionality to it too, since youve likely learned a fair bit about the Code since starting the build.

Aside note, seems this has been suggested before and with a fast search found this thread has more votes. http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/789/piano-style-layout-for-entering-notes-in-addition-to-the-guitar-style-4ths-layout#latest (Disclo…

My guess is copy/ paste is planned for arrangement already. I would also guess that time regional copies would be the natural implementation, since you can already pretty much add any instance, as if it were copied per track now, by turning the sele…

Example: 1st midi track is on midi channel 1 prgm is set to 11...right when it starts playback it sends 11 on 1. Make a clone of that track, 1a...change the prgm value to 12. Now launch it and it will send 12 on 1. Same in arranger. Each instanc…

In your midi track, press the select knob down. PGM , bank, sub are available options.

Thanks, Ian.

@robleighton22 said: Damn, would eat my hat if this ever got implemented. But goes to show how cool having this many pads is. **clears throat...slides the salt

Just found you can run the arp on the external line-in source. and keeping the "octaves" setting to 1 gets you a slicer effect on the input.
