Ditto to what @dest4b said I like the decimator a lot, and the delay is mental how fast it it can run, though bpm sync could use some attention. Its solid.
-
@jbone1313 by saying "for all the steps", do you mean the steps vertical to each other, or all steps including those left and right of where you are trying to lock? Unfortantaly, the deluge dosnt pin a parameter literaly to a step, but more to tha…

@MPrinsen even better!
-
@llexam yes. Or while you hold the note, 3 pads in the lower right light up in a lite/ dark blue indicating, say 32, 64, 127 or something
-
The notes above and below,(that you cant see) i should add, also get copied.
-
You copy what you see. Meaning at whatever resolution your zoom is and the page your on and the octave your at, whatever is right there as you see it, gets copied. A copy/paste per note feature would be great and ive made a suggestion for it a cou…

Defaults at 64. No way i know of to change that? A workaround i use, is to zoom in and use the "cross screen" button and change all the steps i want that way. Not ideal, but can be a fast way of doing it. Also copy/paste.

Thanks @krunchr All my korg kit had one or two weird midi issue that didnt get along with everything else, so its since been replaced with a roland jdxi...which also has some quirks of its own, though they are more tolerable.
-
Greetings @pmoldzio! Its into Song then back to Track, as far as i know. A way to scroll thru tracks while in Track view would be a good feature request though, if its not already one.
-
@alien_brain good point about bouncing/export. I dont see why an export feature couldnt be coded to write stems to sd if there was enough intrest.

A daw has browsing...lots and lots of browsing...the screen can be wide and your eyes can wander all over it. The Deluge is something you have to listen to and use your hands with. Thats the point of a push, as Ableton could forsee the trend of …

Im neutral to the wish. Multi outs would be cool sure, but id rather keep development in the deluge itself. As @amiga909 implied, to make the deluge into what would be in effect an external soundcard, would open a gate of compatibility gremlins id p…

😎 @snanna110 Glad you got it sorted out and shared your findings. Now, on to that most pressing matter, of that 32gb that's just sitting there, waiting for some fresh new kits and synths...
-
Yeah, my first thought was 'overbridge' with elektron and how it seems a boondoggle. Id guess the hardware would need to be built with that feature specifically in mind, and its not just something you could code?
-
And also it does not just instantly controll what track you switch around to. Not like abletons "blue hand" feature. People have suggestion an omni mode sort of option but as of now, the tracks you set it up to be on is where they stay.
-
Ummm as far as your question about recording your external gear's movement -after- its midi mapped to a gold knob while the deluge is in record mode...hmmm im not at my desk right now to double check...i want to say that it does actually, but not wi…
-
It sounds more complicated than it is, and you can get right into what you want pretty quick once youve done it a couple times.
-
For any automation to be recorded, it must first be assigned to a gold knob. Synth, kit, midi, all the same. The midi data stays on midi tracks, internal synth automation stays in the deluge. A midi track sends its note data on the channel you give …

Try getting on a windows machine if you can, to help narrow down the issue. Could be the reader.
-
Awesome, @jamiefaye! Thanks again
-
@alien_brain +1 to that. Something similair to ableton's 'collect all and save' option would be great. Until then...?
-
so it appears it will load new songs i save. i just created a few fake songs as a test, with combinations of kits, sythns, midi tracks ect and it loads as it should. just not songs i made before this update,

im still not certain how we should treat the sd card's samples folder...do we just create music and never touch it again? is it assumed you would never delete any samples once recorded or added? how do you deal with 20 songs that reference small bit…
-
Not familiar with apple. Shouldnt be any problems moving files around on the sd card by defualt tho. Might end up needing to reformat? Maybe someone else can chime in.
-
sd cards do often have a write protect feature on them. its a physical tab you slide on the card itself. have a look at that first, id say.
-
gave it a try on Google Chrome just now, and also same results.
-
im only trying to open one at a time.

Thats as far I get when trying to load a song. it just stalls there. Everything else, kits, synths ect load fine. On some songs i get a screen that says: "parse error". i guess thats from missing files. it wont load also, after it says that. on…

each synth track, and each kit part, needs the 'midi learn' process to happen first, before it responds. that set-up is then saved with that song. you assign it by going into the edit menu, and then navigating to the volume parameter, then hold lea…
