I wholeheartedly agree. There are a lot of small, but significant bugs / annoyances / shortcomings that really need to be adressed. Giving the box new features to attract new customers is one thing, but having the unit stable, click and pop free …

I had this happen to me too. But it was intermittent.

I don’t care. And so far my music which has been on Spotify and the rest has had no problems. But maybe I am just not famous enough.
-
@rohan any idea why this is happening?

Well the type of crash is the same: being stuck and giving off a loud buzzing noise, which is probably the last waveform being looped. It seems to be osc 2, which I never use, but maybe there is something deeper at play here.
-
Maybe this explains some of the weird crashes I have been having. Is it reproducible at your end?

Yes, the voice count is still not where 3.15 was. I gave up chasing this.

I will check if the samples line up with the specs. Maybe I need to resample them to get the perfect format. Thank you. I know I seem to be the forum tool that never gets it right, but bear with me :-)

Alright, I gave this a proper test and pitted a song in 3.15 and 4.01 against each other. in the 3.15 I filled the song up until it gave me dropouts (10 tracks with 4 audio tracks and then a multisample synth with 7 samples). this was as expected. t…

this has been my experience also. when freshly booted, everything works as expected. this changes when I use it for a longer period of time (2-3 hours maybe). then cutouts, buzzes and the like start.

Alright, I will test this and make a video. I think this is the best way. I dont want to chase ghosts so getting to the bottom of this once and for all makes a happier life (and you can focus on other, more exiting stuff). getting back to you whe…

Whenever I hear “use a computer” and “a little python script “, it’s gotten way too far away from making music for my taste. That being said, a “load as multisample but without pitch adjustment“ option would be awesome to have.

But I have found a thread around here describing this problem when using time stretching. It seems the algorithm is not 100% predictable and the outcome varies with the same material. Is this Maybe related to your problem?
-
Tbh no. my loops come out fine.
-
Cheap, as I said :-)

Cheap trick: set your green start marker close to the end. After adjusting the red end marker, put the start back to where it was.
