this question comes up a lot. nope http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/comment/9067#Comment_9067

@Icoustik interesting stuff. nice to hear about optimization potential. i should stop guessing with common sense when Rohan is doing it right now i go with 16bit/44khz, good enough for me. also, i convert bass instruments to mono. xmls are genera…

that question comes up now and then. short answer: you need a mixer. http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/comment/10791#Comment_10791

reminds me about this one http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/1177/keyboard-view-map-velocity-to-the-16-side-pads so cool if there was more expressiveness for the Deluge keyboard

@Too_Mere said: Cloned instruments is a thing. If you load the same preset twice the display says clone. These are then on separate tracks. And I don’t think you’d want to change parameters for both. At least that’d be a different request. …

old manual about global midi commands: When you enter one of these menu items, the learn button will begin blinking, indicating that it may be used. The Deluge’s text display will show the word “NONE” by default, indicating that no MIDI note / chan…

thanks. yeah, the initial thread suggestion for midified kits would fit in nicely here.

@sojacalcium said: Well at least I found a workaround. If I create a regular kit and program say the kick pattern and bring its volume down, all I have to do is to create an extra "lane" right below and have it trigger the right midi note (in my …

thanks forthe info. just remembering, you might get finer control with learning pitchbend messages. in another thread it was reported u can learn pitchbend to other params than pitch. havent tried, might be a workaround for your use case. pitchbend …

ah, yeah only works in kits. this also took me some time to get also. samples with kick in their name are auto set (check sidechain send param) but u can have any kit row as sidechain source. yeah, they could add sidechain send to all instrument ty…

@funkymothers said: Thank you, amiga909 - I must have overlooked the implementation. I am after something like this: https://nickfever.com/music/midi-cc-list see CC 96 and 97. these CC are part of NRPN messages. NRPN consist of a bunch of…

the sidechain source already are midi notes. the behavior you describe is how it actually works. took me a while to get that, the sidechain compressor does not have an audio envelope follower. try this: have a kick as sidechain source. apply som…

with 14bit u mean NRPN? no. dont know what kind of standard you mean with incr./decr. messages. there is no sysex control. you can check the midi implementation chart in the manual. the right column lists all types of midi messages for remote c…

thanks for the info mate

if I get your use case right, the only workaround I can think of is midi learning volume to midi. and mute/unmute kits that way. either Kit affect-entire volume or volume of individual kit rows (you can assign multiple targets to one midi source). t…

@Icoustik did you generate all XMLs with SampleRobot? i've noticed a few XMLs have a "cents" attributes in "sampleRanges". i think i've seen more in an earlier version of your massive collection. for example Tal Fairlight Flute.XML sampleRange…

your mind works there is no self extend record mode when in keyboard view. was mentioned before somewhere. guess the only way is to use an external midi keyboard for that.

I am stuck here. One way would be to get a PC and do it with EndlessWAV. The most known root key usage in wav files seems to come from Sonic Foundry and their "Acidized" wav's, I found some spec for that. However, I am loosing interest ;-) there …

Experimenting with reducing the size of my multisamples. Presets always seem to work when I go full scale (12 samples per octave). I tried by removing every second semitone keeping 6 or 3 samples with equal distance per octave. Works quite well…

it works the same way for midi clips as with audio clips? create new midi lip press record and launch so its blinks red press record and pad below armed clip recording starts and clip auto extends length.
