Ok. Well, advice should work for others not using downrush or wanting to try organizing. I know I will be doing this soon.

@minigoat said: No indication that any sample managment will be implemented in the next frimware release. Looks like we need to either hope downrush gets the feature or learn how to use a text editor and hopefull not corrupt any files doing so. A…

Oh yes - definitely agree bi-directional and random options would be a great addition

Spectralis is closest to Cirklon as far as Sequencers go. P-locks, separate automation tracks, conditional sequencing with probability options. Quite the deep and complex sequencing abilities. I love my Spectralis 2 but love the Deluge because it…

Isn’t current sample names and paths somewhere in the song xml file? Couldn’t the samples be moved and xml edited?

Are you using some beta version of 2.0? I don’t have an Arranger section. Still waiting on official 2.0 release for Arranger. If it is Beta, don’t you beta testers post in beta group?
-
That’s what I thought too. Stream from SD. Or is that an upcoming 2.0 feature?
-
It’s the 32gb card, right?
-
Oh yeah - this too. I was waiting to see what the new MPC’s brought to the table as standalones, but after being a member on their forums and watching as promised were broken, or updates extremely slow, I gave up on them as the new MPC’s still can’t…

Very nice setup! Deluge is going to great with your setup. I got mine setup in a small configuration with a TB-03, MAM MB33, Future Retro Orb, Access Virus Ti, and D-05, SH-01a boutiques. Got a second MB33 on the way too. Running the MB33 thr…

I love this sampler. Stretching is great with link. Everything about this machine is pretty awesome. Those 2.0 features will be great too of course, but the machine is so fast already to create on and jam on. Using it every day like crazy when…

This would be cool. +1 To be honest though, I don’t mind using numbers and my ears. Reminds me of my first start with samplers. Visual indicators would be great for slicing loops though. Much faster than numbers and ears.

It’s in the manual. Sidechain tied to bass drum sample and sample should be named “bd”

+1

SHIFT + New gives you new song
-
SHIFT + Kit or Synth gives new preset you can then make however you want.
-
Also the online manual is good - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1FAeJ5f1sl3kKJgvbKmGRe3PIMjkaYrh3eAXF05PAV6k/mobilebasic#h.a0z7me4ugogi

My manual that came with it had all the 1.4 features. 2.0 is next and won’t be until June sometime (very soon anyway). Written manual shipped covers all features.

Mm. That sounds like it could be bad if you have wav files that you may have been given that someone else embedded loop points into and still shows a plain wav. Hopefully the set them right Been awhile since I used Soundforge, but I remember A…

Some samplers can read varying proprietary sample formats that have embedded loop points or other information as in the case of an Akai sampler having specific sample format that a Roland sampler might be able to read, but that changes the file type…
-
Does it actually embed it or create a settings change in another file to note it? Can you run an md5 hash on the file and still match the original?

And what software embeds loop points in a wav or aif file? I don’t use a PC or Mac and my previous experience with Ableton, Sonar, Nuendo, Cubase, FL Studio, etc never embedded info into the file - it used an associative secondary file

The Deluge does not send clock OUT if it receives audio pulse IN (this is in the manual), but does if it receives midi clock IN It retransmits midi system realtime messages if OUT is set to be a THRU.

There are all kinds of options to loop parts of a sample. Start and end time settings. Sample behavior options of once, cut, loop, or stretch. Resample the part of the sample you set start and end times on, etc. Not sure why you’d need embedded i…

If you need to use the keys on your particular synth, you would of course have to map back to the Deluge, but you could also use a merge box to merge all the outs of your synths to single IN of your Deluge I like using a single controller myself.…

@MPrinsen said: I want the midi out of the synths to go back to the Deluge so I can record any parameters or notes by the Deluge and loop this. Yes - mapping any of the seven buttons with top and bottom functions linked to the gold contro…

Why not just use a separate midi THRU box? Much less expensive than upping the size of the MiO Midi solutions passive or a Kenton Active. The Kenton THRU boxes I use are active and have one IN, five OUT for midi ports. I run my controller keyboar…
