I would think the problem would be support. Soon you would have 20 different versions and what are they supposed to do? Load up the person’s version to troubleshoot every time someone has an issue they think is hardware related but really issues wit…

So far everything plays good with it. I picked up a midi event filter and going to set it up inline before a 5 way thru box to filter out start/stop messages and use it with my three Mother 32’s and another Boutique. I like the built in sequencers o…

@jbone1313 said: Mine feels great now a week out. Same after two weeks for me. It felt like some cludgey grease on the pot was used for lubrication. Just a little stiff from sitting. I actually like a little resistance in the feel. You ca…

Worked on a new drum n bass song all weekend with my Spectralis 2 and Deluge. It was fantastic to just get ideas out and fine tune tracks, pick samples, add fx, play out synth parts. Been awhile since firing up the Specki, but it came back to me. De…

@jbone1313 said: To add on to the above, if you are using your Deluge to sequence a bunch of synths and send MIDI clock, there is a good chance stuff is going to wobble, since again, MIDI is serial. How much wobble? Who knows? Does it matter to y…

$139 https://vintageking.com/expert-sleepers-usamo?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIyLXbzJqX2wIVCNtkCh1V0g2JEAQYBSABEgJQk_D_BwE I see what your sayin though. I thought originally that’s what the Kenton did. My bad

I just re-read the manual and it is very specific in stating it can not output midi clock if slaved to trigger pulse. Maybe a future update will change that. In the meantime if you must have that feature, one of these Kenton sync boxes should …

I really should try this with my Minilogue and Novation Circuit for a quick test. I believe my Minilogue has pulse clock out so I could slave the Deluge to it and see if it passes midi clock the the Novation Circuit. I’ll set it up tonight and test …

Not sure about audio pulses. I use midi to cv converters for modular gear. Doepfer dark link or Blue Lantern converters.

@pfrf said: The Pyramid has midi effects and a euclidian sequencer. They’re fun but the list of midi effects includes an arpeggiator, quantizer, swing, scale and a few other things that are actually already included in other sequencers. The euc…

I can confirm it passes clock messages with midi THRU set to ON when slaved to a clock source into midi IN of the Deluge. I just did this setting my keyboard to 120bpm into Deluge midi IN, then Deluge midi OUT to my Spectralis 2. Again, Deluge se…

PadKontrol is very programmable and you should be able to set up several scenes to fit different ways of working too if you wanted. Maybe in the case of particular control handy on the X/Y pad for one song or track vs another.

So I finally verified for myself running my controller to midi in on Deluge, settings for midi to thru on, then midi out to 5 way thru box with one out going to a tr-08 and another to my Spectralis 2. Works as it should. I like to have the Deluge be…

Couple posts on this already. Popular suggestion. I agree though.

Even there I’m being nice and not editing snowflakes to my intent of snowflakey so you don’t get all triggered Autocorrect happens

@alien_brain said: why change what you said? ignore me or mind your own business. Geist came out misspelled so I corrected it. No need to get all snowflakes over it

You know, you were a lot less bitter on the Geist and Zaquencer forums. Maybe some meditation will help. I’m under the name Wormhelmet on those forums.

@alien_brain said: theres the real problem, you cant wait to hate Hardly, but nice try. I see you are trying out the patch and using your dongle.

This is good to know. I have four of the Magma Boutique cases.

Ignore feature is good, but all forums lack the real ignore feature - the one that doesn’t even show you the user posted. Instead all forums show you that tempting username you want to hate, but just can’t stop being curious as to what kind of co…

I just bought a Midi Solutions midi event filter. Should be in my hands in a few days. I mostly bought it because I can hook a one IN, five OUT, active midi thru box and filter system events out of the stream. I got 3 mother 32’s that don’t have the…

I’m using my iPhone notes app to keep track of song routings to external synths midi channels and patch numbers. I also use iPhone pictures I take to document my modular setups and patching or patches on any of my analog synths with no presets. It w…

As long as it stayed an option. I would not want the default behavior to change. Launching and muting tracks with default of wait for loop beginning suits my workflow better on the Deluge. Would be nice to be able to toggle between the two behaviors…

Watched more tutorial videos and read more of the manual. Starting to learn my way around the excellent shortcuts. Got my TR-08 and Nord Rack 2X hooked up playing around with stuff. All weekend playing with this. Incredible machine. So glad I waited…

This would be a great feature. Beatmaker 2 and 3 have this collect all samples and keep them in a song directory function as did NanoStudio. Very handy for keeping tidy file structure or swapping out samples on the device in order to utilize limi…

I would say the Deluge has many limits compared to Ableton Live and the processing power of today’s laptops, so comparing it to Ableton with Push 2 is not really a fair comparison, but that goes with any of the Elektron or Akai machines too compared…
