Only possibility would be midi controllers that can jump to specific values for the effects you want. Launchpad controllers for example, can have momentary CC values that you can specify.
-
I think the closest options to the performance track you mentioned would be using step or manual automation to momentarily being in various effects or modulations. Some things can’t be automated, like stutter, in which case resampling can be used …

@Noidal said: Hi, I’m having the same midi problems, but also with midi in using a midi cable..... Nothing. Midi with a midi cable used to work a couple updates ago. I’m not sure what happened. I’m wondering if I should experiment with an earlier…

You have to fill the column of notes with scale mode on. Otherwise it’ll be 8 chromatic notes and scale mode will create an “other” scale to fit them.
-
Seems that way. Good luck!

My pleasure :-)

Sounds like you’ve got it! 👍🏼

That should work based on the steps you mentioned. However, it won’t record if there is already a clip on the audio track where you are trying to start recording from. So if the audio track is blank and armed, pressing record then play should st…

Not currently possible. Sorry

I think not likely a bug because it all seems to be functioning on my end. You may be missing a step or something. Try entering and exiting the audio clip you’re looping from to make it the focus, so it’s not looping from another clip instead. T…

Yes, you can loop from dim magenta or red. For the loop pedal function to create a new track, you need to press it while the Deluge is playing. Or you can create a blank audio clip first.
-
And the dimmer magenta is because there is content in the clip. Bright magenta is for empty clips.
-
Just to clarify, each added layer/overdub will be on its own new audio clip. Audio clips by default will be armed with magenta color in song mode. This means that when you use the loop function, the new resulting audio clip will be using a new tr…

Whenever you turn on scale mode it makes a best guess at what scale you’re using, based on any notes sequenced. This defaults to major if no notes exist. To preserve the scale setting you want, another clip needs to exist with the desired scale n…

No prob 👍🏼

Not currently possible, sorry.

I just tried testing PGM change messages and I’m not having any issues. Do you mean firmware 3.1.5 or are you on old firmware?
-
No problem :-)

Hi Rob, It is possible to control your external device this way. Just go in the Deluge settings menu to MIDI > THRU and set to on. Then make sure your external device is set to receive the channel being sent by the Akai. And that’s it! Ch…

Sounds like important files or folders may have been moved. Your root menu on the SD card needs to stay the same: KITS, SAMPLES, SONGS, SYNTHS. MIDI clips only send on one channel. Are you certain your external synths are set to only revive a cer…

Within an audio clip, go to the very end of the clip and press a pad in the last column of pads. This reveals a red column of pads. Now you can press any other column of pads, shorter or longer than the original. This will shorten or lengthen the cl…

Even if someone doesn’t use the arranger, it is a place where all clips are tied to one thing. This is why track naming exists there.
-
Cloned instruments is a thing. If you load the same preset twice the display says clone. These are then on separate tracks. And I don’t think you’d want to change parameters for both. At least that’d be a different request.

@amiga909 said: good point, related: http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/2526/all-parameter-changes-affect-all-clones I saw that headline but it's a little misleading because clones means something else now. I also agree with one of t…
