No problem 👍🏼 Thanks for pointing this out.
-
It seems you’re right. I was able to replicate on my end as well. I’m tagging @rohan who I’ll also send a message to with more info I found. I’m confident Rohan will get this corrected before the next release
-
First thing to check, 3.1.5 is the latest firmware. If not already on that version, update and see if the problem persists.
-
No problem!

You can do it manually by selecting the kit row with the kick in it, then use the SEND shortcut near the other sidechain parameters. Turn it up to 50 for the full effect other kicks have by default.

Happy to help! 👍🏼

@phillipadsmith said: Ah, so you change the Deluge song tempo, which has a finer resolution, until you match that to the sample? From there, when you change the temp of the song back to where you want it, does the sample's tempo always follow acc…

Personally, when I’m using sampled material that includes its own rhythm. I play with the sample’s transposition and the Deluge tempo to find the groove. If I’m slicing, I pick a slice number that gets me at least close to the slice size I want a…

No problem👍🏼

Glad you found the issue! I’ve heard certain hubs may cause issues. Happy to help! 👍🏼

I don’t think the Deluge outputs velocity over CV currently. Those values will only have an effect if the clip is changed to synth, kit, or MIDI
-
Glad you’re getting it figured out 👍🏼
-
Cheers👍🏼
-
Are you trying from a new kit? The ALL function is only available when loading a new kit (hold shift + kit).
-
Yes, that is quite possible 👍🏼
-
Have you tried connecting the Deluge to any other MIDI transport enabled devices? If the same thing happens with other devices, and other MIDI cables, I would perform a factory reset (by holding the select knob while powering on). That should reset …

I’m not quite sure what you’re describing. Can you perhaps give a specific example or use case that demonstrates your issue?
-
In the case of the hi hat & kick you can add sidechain value to the hi hat. It’ll then be quieter when the kick hits. Also, you can use affect entire to adjust levels of all clip rows in a kit.
-
Glad you got it working! 👍🏼

I’m not sure I understand what you’re experiencing. When notes are placed they fill the note value of the current zoom level. At 16th zoom 16th notes are placed. If you then zoom in to 32nd you’ll see the placed 16th is two 32nd long. 2x32nd=16th. …

Have you tried changing magnitude settings under MIDI > CLOCK?
-
No problem! Glad you got it sorted 👍🏼
-
Besides MIDI in on Deluge, there’s a setting for clock in under MIDI settings. Have you made sure that’s on as well?
-
No problem. I understand now. Thanks for clarifying. Glad you’ve got it figured out👍🏼
-
Can you please clarify what you’re specifically trying to achieve? It sounds like you have other samples loaded where you’re trying to add samples. If you select a range then hold shift and press save/delete to remove that sample. Or you can chan…

Not sure how exactly it’ll be implemented but that’s the basic idea, yes
-
Typically wavetable synthesis will do what you’re describing except it uses a small segment of a larger audio file that can be moved and modulated to evolve the sound over time.
-
Yes, Volsteh is correct. Easy to switch clip types. The notes will remain but automation however is tied to the synth patch. And when you switch to a MIDI clip you’ll have to assign the gold knob a CC parameter before it can be automated. But you …
