  • Knowledgeable and helpful as ever. Thanks a lot @Too_Mere.
  • Added. Thanks a lot
  • Okay, so this, essentially, refreshes scale association, but it does the trick and quickly. ^^
  • sounds promising but as I try to follow, keeps resetting to major. Pressing scale plus base note pad as suggested (only possible in non-keyboard because in keyboard audition pads are redundant; they could be used to play chords as in the newest l…
  • In a broader sense, any development / "ownership" decision at this level of maturity of the device needs to be taken increasingly more cautiously. It is a great achievement I think to have kept a unique device on the market for so long, adding major…
  • One way is to delete the clip which was the longest, if you remember which one this was. Above picture, the lowermost track was audio, with content deleted. What worked was to rather than reuse the track to record new sample, delete the track and al…
  • As a follow up, there is a special case in which I ended up with lots of steps. I wonder if you can think of a workaround. Scenario song mode. a cpu heavy drum clip of 4 bars. some synths a track for a long improvisation, 64 bars recorded, t…
  • One more thing. this is also how you can get instantly to the folders whose names you know. Say, you select to open a synth but want a sound you keep in folder "drones". Just type drones and press enter is the surest way. If no synths named drones i…
  • Simplicity and specific application, fair enough. Thanks
  • @Alter, all resampling to an audio track is useful. What are the advantages of audio track vs a sample in the Kit? As far as Kit advantages: control of sample start and end per-step automation.
  • OK, so it is good to know you have to save the song even if a dummy copy if something in the additions goes wrong if the recorded clips are to be preserved.
  • Sound really cool. How do they fit into Deluge project structure? A synth per track?
  • @Alter said: I found a way to resample a specific region: Precisely. Many thanks, this is what I have been looking for.in terms of creating tempo aligned loops. Notes * Create the audio track by pressing one of the 16 pads of a fr…
  • Great to hear. I will take a look. Meantime, have been exploring alternatives, namely stutter. You can set it to specific length and and it can be either all tracks or a single one, so no grouping unless you group samples within a kit. any len…
  • @Alter said: If the length of the loop is determined in advance, resampling to an audio track is useful. Can you provide more details? What are the advantages / applications? @Too_Mere said: Trim that longest clip, or a d…
  • The research continues. It turns out that pressing record + play during resampling stops recording not at bar end but at the longest playing phrase end. This is useful in itself but outside contexts when this is what you are after you would want …
  • @rephazer said: In below video you can check out the patches included in the Afterlife Sound Pack I made for the Deluge. Enjoy and headphones recommended Cheers! Fab sounds. Off-topic, how do you create such graphics, via …
  • I have an update the method presented in the video works as long as the letter pressed is "higher" than R in this folder at least because all files start with R(ec).
  • @alphaminus many thanks for sharing. I have been planning to get amen into my deluge actually; it's instant prodigy to me. There is not plenty of talk here, so you may not hear it adequatly to your input but you are making amazing contribution sh…
  • @jensg said: Sure. Many thanks for this, and its great to hear the workaround has not fully gone with the OLED. After all, in some contexts you would rather start browsing at the end (Resample folder). There are a bunch of very…
  • Okay, good to know. That is an important feature but I have found a workaround yet. So the thing matters as long as you want the beginning of sample to resound the end of the sample. Essentially, always when you want continuous loop, or there will …
  • Looks like there is what I was looking for Quantize loop record end by pressing record+play ahead of time. Quantize loop record start if already playing (special case of wanting a developed reverb/delay/tail from the beginning of the loop), t…
  • Better than thought. Thanks!
  • @Alter said: To transpose from Fmin to Gmaj, in the scale mode, SHIFT+ press UP/DOWN knob and turn clockwise +2, then press SHIFT+ SCALE to select major scale. This is not a fun operation. I don't think deluge is so much fun to operate.. …
  • That's an interesting trick. I am not using an external synth, and hope to retain GAS control so as to 'limit' myself to mere subtractive, FM, multisampling & wavetables synthesis available onboard, but it shows Deluge potential as a sequencer.
  • And this could be applied to a number of other functions, such as tempo. You may want to check tempo without affecting the beat - and pitch, if delay is active.
  • Okay, thank you for your help. I have DAW thinking habits, I have realised. For uncompromised stereo, the device would need 2 pairs of stereo outs (and processor would need send funcitonality). Then it would be more complex, more expensive and less …
  • Okay, so it turns out that output being all Right, the mono cable needs to go into effect's Left in and leave with Left Out. Then the best setting for audio track is stereo with feedback. Still, it is stereo mixture of Left in and Right silence, if …
  • Thanks for your reply. I think I got lost somewhere. It would be good to get this step-by-step. This will be based on an assumption that there is one instrumental and one drum track and only the former should go through the processor. So th…
  • Are these posts written by one person?> @Icoustik said: @Alter said: Although deluge has so many buttons, these transpose shortcuts change parameters cyclically or continuously (major>minor>dorian... / +1,+2 semitone). Circu…
