Great hijack. I learned something at least. But yes, global keyboard...

Okay cool. So what's up with NRPN then? I've got an Alesis Micron which seems to be very hard to find controllers for.
-
For now would a work around be to create your own custom scale? I seem to recall that as a possibility.
-
@funktree e) All of the above. The Deluge will be the heart of my set up but I will defiantly be sharing it around with my colleagues and trying out their synths and drum machines too. But I see your point. It would be good to know all the lim…

I'm fully happy to invest more in this company for firmware updates. There have been some awesome ideas that look like they could be achievable as the hardware should be able to support it but I assuming the coding would be fucking hardcore! I'm …

Would this not be really hard to implement? I'm still new to midi but isn't every controller different? I know I'll have some issues as my only other synth after the Deluge (when it arrives) uses NRPN midi which is a pain in the arse.

So like an extra zoom out level from Song View?

I really love this idea. So much potential!
-
Cool. Thanks for the update!

Yes it would. Have you seen this thread? http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/18/automation-of-start-and-end-points-of-a-sample-and-different-looping-options#latest There are a few other great sampling ideas in the software request section…

Yeah, the sharp dot I assume comes from the boss TU-2 turner pedals. Sometimes a bit of a drag to see sometimes with stage lighting.
-
Wow, cool.

What copying tracks? Yeah it's in the manual. Really easy. So from the manual whilst in song view: "A track may be cloned by holding down any of its 16 main pads, and then pressing a pad on a different row where you would like the new, cloned trac…

Great idea. I've seen something similar (Alesis Micron) that ends at the nearest bar. So it's always about getting the end point tight like with looping.
-
In the mean time as a work around, which people might be doing already I thought about just making a blank double of all the tracks. But yeah, a clear pattern command would be great!
-
One. Then a whole bunch of people throwing idea's at him, including us now.
-
Can't be done. There's only one D/A convertor. A few ideas have been discussed in relation to this, getting more outputs/cuing from the headphone jack or potentially getting more outputs from the USB. All have been shut down. So creative work-aro…

Yes! Totally keen for that. A mate of mine has a Vermon DRM1. Totally keen to sketch some beats on the Deluge then take it over.
-
With normal loopers there's no screen. But the Deluge has the grid. So I guess a row would be your track with red indicators to show start and end points.
-
YES! I was just writing this at the same time. Do you think this ties in to your idea? It would be nice to have some predetermined sample start and end times. The threshold function on the SP404sx is really useful but it lacks an automated end…
