Oh and it would also be nice to be able to launch a track immediately, but in sync with the other tracks. So when it launches, it starts at the 13th beat when the other tracks are also on the 13th beat. Also arming a track to start at the 13th wh…

Are you sure this does not work already?

@Ljk said: im new to this jargen of syncing clocks like this. with cakewalk i have not experienced syncing problems recording i cant hear any real latency.. however, when using the Deluges delay on a given sample/synth it will 95% of the time war…

I know, but with the 2.0 update it should be possible to tweak any knob on your synth and it gets recorded. Without assigning it to a golden knob first. This is much more desirable.
-
I want the midi out of the synths to go back to the Deluge so I can record any parameters or notes by the Deluge and loop this.
-
Cool! Thanks for testing. Do you know whether it can also power the deluge through usb?
-
Yes it makes much more sense to me that all parameters are affecting the synth across all tracks. You can then still achieve a per track value by automating a parameter in a track. I often tweak some parameters on the fly in in a live performance…

I don't think the Deluge needs open source firmware with a programmer like Rohan behind it. Just suggest your features and if it is a good suggestion, he will implement it!
-
So this has been implemented in the new beta 2.0, as I read it, it is EXACTLY how I suggested! Thank you team Synthstrom!!

It is pretty hard now to tweak the cutoff on the fly and change tracks at the same time...

I think I didn't make myself clear. Let me rewrite my question with an example: 1) I create a synth track and add some notes. 2) I clone this track 3) I start playback in song mode 4) I hold one of the pads of the 1st track and tweak the cu…

Nobody?

Yes this could be combined with the true custom scales suggestion made.
-
I think you can easily create a count in by adding a track with a unique section set to play only once, then go to the next section (which should be the track you want to record). Now enter 4 notes of a rimshot in the count in track and start launch…

One mode comment: It would be perfect if the last velocity is remembered per track. So when you switch to a different track and go back, you can immediately start entering notes in the piano roll in the same velocity of the last entered note of t…

+1 I would love to be able to set launch behavious per track, so some tracks can kick in (and others stop/pause) 4 beats before the next bar, as a fill in. Good for a sudden kick in of a psytrance lead etc. Now I have to do this with my mixer…

@Ian_Jorgensen setting the default/remembering the last note velocity hasn't changed in the 2.0 update, did it?
-
That's awesome!!! Can't wait to update and play with it when I'm home

Please upvote the software suggestion then: http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/901/remember-last-set-note-velocity

I made a software suggestion about this topic: http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/901/remember-last-set-note-velocity Feel free to upvote if you think this is a good idea.

I can't find it? Would like to upvote

Me too wih fl studio

Is this suggested in the Software suggestion forum already?

@Phil said: I would even like to have a 1 note “scale”, so I could drone Throught 8 ocatves without scrolling up and down. +1 I would go even further; scale would act like the fold function in ableton showing only the used notes. I like to …

They Deluge should just remember the value of the last edited note velocity. Then all new entered notes get the same velocity, if you don't want that, you edit them again. Also when pressing and holding an existing note, it should take the velocity …

How can you copy a note?

Ok, I decided to create a new thread after all: http://forums.synthstrom.com/discussion/885/advanced-midi-in-out-assignment-and-control

+1 Not only for cc, also just for notes. I'd like to have 1 global midi keyboard/controller that lets you play the selected track. When knobs/faders are mapped of this "global" controller, it should be a "generic" link, which means that it …
