the mc101 is worth it for the sound library alone.. simply use it as a 4 part multi-timbral sound source and map the deluge knobs to your most desired parameter CCs

A sustain input is usually viewed as the responsibility of the midi input device (ie midi keyboard) and it is rare that a sound module or groovebox has support for a sustain pedal.. None of my synth sound modules, nor MPC, MC grooveboxes, nor Masc…

May i suggest that the title be reworded to "Delete specific automation for a specific event"? You can currently only delete all automation of a particular type for the entire track...

Well, since you asked, lol imo (and yes just my opinion) Fx need serious work.. and its the reason why i simply don't bother with the synth of the Deluge anymore. Delay is largely useless to me.. its my most use fx and it sounds amateurish. it…

Deluge is not a great solution for vocals really.. a good vocal chain would be gate, comp, eq, (delay), reverb and none of the deluge fx are remotely as good as even a cheap vocal processor. imo you would be far better off in terms of audio resul…

there is no sustain pedal input. You can use a keyboard controller or if you dont wish a keybed, fudge one with a pedal and a midi solutions box or

@renewable_intel said: Hey all, what do you guys think about automating the Start and End sample points via realtime recording, LFO and parameter locks. This would open up the sound design side of the deluge, great for creating unusual son…

A delay unit needs a separate feedback control.. period... Feedback controls the number of repeats, and send controls the relative volume of the first repeat.. having these combined makes zero sense

An interesting extra feature, though difficult to see how this could be step modulated. in my view..the priorities for the delay fx block are: 1. a Feedback control.. 2. control over stereo width 3. HF damping (HF cutoff)

^^ oactually i was in error, I just reviewed the specs on my headphones.. the AKG702 are actually 62 Ohms...

Personally i can't agree with a piano type layout.. it offers little extra benefit to the existing layout and if you play keys, then a cheap controller is far better for this 10 times out of ten (and yes, i play)..lol. I think an alternative layo…

hmm no response?.. This is a pretty easy to identify and replicate bug, and i have found others, but it now is unclear to me if there is a bug report process at all?.. is there somewhere else these reports should be posted other than the feedback…

unclear to me.. I bought a pair of AKG702 which are 250 Ohm and the output is sadly too low to be usable. They work fine on phones, tablets and audio interfaces and mixers, but not on the Deluge.

Just ran into this today and yes. I totally agree with the above.. fwiw, pretty much every other piece of hw and software sequencing gear I know will have a default velocity of 100.. so this 64 is an outlier quirk I do not mind if the default …

If you appreciate a quality keybed, look no further that the Novation Remote SLII series.. https://global.novationmusic.com/keys/sl-mkii# store onboard midi templates, (which i do) or use with computer automap software.. it has a beautiful fat…

+1 a possible improved implementation may be..? 1. press/ hold audition launch button 2. press notes for the chord of interest 3. release audition launch button This has the benefit that if you wanted (say) a maj 7 chord with bass ie -8, 0…

@rpc9943 its unclear if by phrase you mean step sequence vs an arp pattern..? but luckily they both have their place. my thoughts.. a big +1 @Myrk, for starting this thread and the suggestions that a) More pattern variations are sorely neede…
