Mesmerizing, I love this!

Added to the post above, the Deluge makes a fantastic tempo based guitar effects processor. I connect my guitar to an Ethos preamp/cab simulator then to the Deluge. I set up an input, add effects (and notes if I want to), automate some parameters,…

@grm said: I don't recall this happening with 3.1.4, but haven't used it that long. On 3.1.5, if I lay down some synth notes spanning a few octaves, then switch to kit, then switch back to synth, it somehow changes one or a few of the note…

@ pmoney- Thanks for posting the video. I don't wish bugs on anyone, and I have no intention of following up on this, but at least now I feel validated. I've given up on looping and using the footswitch. I thought the looping implementation in th…

Thank you for those suggestions. I think I need to get SampleRobot. I'm going to check it out, it might be a big help. I was experimenting to see what I could accomplish with single cycle waveform multisamples. I wanted to avoid aliasing but t…

My projects tend to be smaller than that, so I haven't run into problems with the size of the multisamples yet. But some of the multisamples I created in which the Deluge wrongly pitch shifted my files have been trouble. If I just make a quick mul…

I recommend sampling every note. I've tried to sample four notes per octave, I'm very organized about file names etc, but since v3 the Deluge keeps mistaking the pitch of the files and placing them on the wrong note. When I move them to the correc…

You can also turn down the velocity sensitivity of the preset- press shift + velocity mod source and choose something less than 50. I think the problem stems from the decision to make 64 the default velocity. That's theoretically understandable b…

I just downloaded the 3.1 update and, looking in my Deluge folder, I realized this is the 15th update you've released since I bought the Deluge two years ago. Amazing. Thank you!

I still appreciate your reply, thanks. It's good for users to know what works and what doesn't. I wish more had chimed in but this forum is unpopulated. I finally got the official Deluge looper pedal. It works perfectly, and makes looping easy…

Of course I know what multisamples are. I've made Precision bass, acoustic guitar, and female background vocal libraries for Kontakt. For my Deluge multisamples, in order to save some space and because these sounds are not intended to be used in…

I received my footswitch quite a while ago now. It's really nice, good build quality, easy to setup and use. The switches step through processes rather than just switching on/off one MIDI function which is very cool and makes looping simple. Than…

Thanks so much for the awesome continued support!

I look forward to it!

I bought this bank of patches and I am so impressed. They are fantastic. Thank you!

I use my own samples, sometimes I use the internal synth but not in every song. I don't hear any difference when I sum a bunch of drum samples in Deluge or in Logic, it sounds the same. I have more options for processing in Logic, but the Deluge d…

It took me a while to get around to it, I've finally sampled a saw from my Boomstar. What I found out is that any notes above G3 have serious aliasing when played back in the Deluge. So the multisample is only good for bass. I didn't have this is…

This is a fantastic set of 50 patches for the Deluge. Excellent! https://synth-patches.com/deluge/

Really great track!

I find this frustrating, too. I know some kind of permanent MIDI assignments or templates is a common feature request. I believe the controller assignments are saved per synth preset.

Although the ability to automate is wonderful, it doesn't improve the effects. Still, I get good results using what is already there, I don't want to sound like I am complaining. I love the Deluge as is. But if we're dreaming then my wishes wou…

I always figured it was the Alesis HR 16 version 2. I think it was the 16B. I could be totally wrong and I no longer have those kits installed, but here's a link to some information: http://www.vintagesynth.com/misc/hr16.php I just took a lo…

I agree, I wish there was a way to send the audio clip immediately to the slicer. At the least I wish the temp folder contents were available.

Mine has done this since the first day. It’s not loud, but easily heard. I don’t turn the knob in performance or recording so I’ve ignored it. I’ve read a few other people complain about the scratchy volume knob as well. Please post back whateve…

I keep meaning to sample the oscillators of my SE Boomstar. That would get you in the ballpark. I’ll post back here when I finish that project.

Yes, artsun thanks for answering, I did get the MIDI footswitch. It looks nice but I haven’t had time to set it up and play, I’m too busy!
